Nines and Gavin sat together on airport chairs, across and to the side a few seats from the rest of the party. Nines leant over to Gavin, beginning to speak;
"Hungry?"
"How does this relate to the case?"
"It doesn't, just want to know." He defended, glancing at the clock on the wall.
"Planning on taking me out to a fancy dinner date?"
"Most definitely, you'll get to meet my brother, too, Mr. Vending Machine." He joked, getting up and waiting for Gavin. The detective stood up, following after Nines to the airport wall where a large metal machine stood.
"Take your pick.." He stated omonously, leaning up against the object. Gavin glanced along the wall of food for a moment before clicking a couple digits on the keypad, an OH Henry bar falling into the space below. Nines looked back, another man lining up behind them. After a very quick scan he found that it was... James Maxwell. Tapping his walkie talkie to alert his comrades, he jumped at James, grabbing him and attempting to keep him in place. Gavin walked over, slightly surprised, grabbing out handcuffs.
James attempted to slip away, grabbing out a knife and swinging at Nines. Nines dodged the hit, beginning to chase the criminal who'd escaped his grasp, eventually tripping him into a chair and grabbing him by the collar, attaching his wrists together with handcuffs. Gavin showed up followed by Tina and Chris.
Nines began dragging him back towards the parking lot, Gavin and Tina falling into step together.
"How'd your re-meeting with Nines go." Tina joked.
Gavin smiled;
"Pretty good but..." He trailed off, only half wanting to finish that sentence.
"But what?"
But he might not think of me like I think of him...
"But its better now because we caught James." He murmured, technically not a lie.
She nodded, beginning to walk away;
"When are they going to be gay for each other already?" She muttered under her breath.
