Spiked

Amity didnt know how, but whe ended up finding Luz at a party. And the funny thing was, she was now helping Luz leave the building.

What happened was, Amity had just been wandering around through the crowde that was currently in Boschas house, ignoring the incredibly loud music.

She only stopped when she spotted Luz, Gus, and Willow. Luz didnt look ok and from what Amity saw, Willow and Gus were to busy to even notice that their friend was slower than usual and leaning against the nearest objects, that were not people, when she could.

Amity, knowing that Luz would A. Never drink and B, this was a Boscha party. The drinks were clearly and most likely spiked with something.
She walked over to luz, tapping her on the shoulder." Hey, you okay?" She asked the human. She was honestly worried because she didnt know how a human would react to whatever Boscha and her idiots used.

"W-what? Yeah. I-im fine." The Human said, looking at Amity. "Oh, really? Then tell me," Amity said, a bored, but concerned, tone to her voice."how many fingers am I holding up?" The witch asked, raising her hand once again and holding up two fingers." I-......4?" The human answered before she was suddenly lifted into the air by the witch who was questioning her.

"Wrong." Amity sighed, walking twards the exit. She didnt want Luz to get hurt here, knowing she most likley would." W- hey! P-put me down!" She said, not loud though. She was being held bridal style so that Amity would have an easy time carrying her.

Luz didnt even seem to notice when they walked out of the house and into the night, onto the roads. 'Do I take her to Eda...or my place?' Amity thought to herself, continuing to walk.  If she wanted to get Luz to the owl house, she would have to be fast.

No one wanted to be out at night unless they had to be. Especially on the boiling isles.

Amity sighed, knowing she should go to the owl house. So, she headed for the exit of the town. She listened to her own footsteps, her shoes tapping on the stone and dust of the empty road. Hardly any lights were on she she had to rely on her own eyes in order to see.

The witch felt the Human in her arms shift, causing her to look down at her. "Why are you helping me?" Luz asked, looking up at Amity." Im not the jerk I used to be." She said, not saying the entirety of the reason why, so she thought to herself about it. 'And because I love you and dont want you to get hurt when I could have helped you.' She thought, her pointed ears flicking forward as she listened closely to their surroundings.

They were now in the dangerous forest, Amity still carrying her Luz in her arms as she walked down the dirt path. She would occasionally hear the dnap of a twig or the crunch of dome leaves but didnt pay much mind to it. She had almost no reason to.

Amity felt Luz shift again but she didnt look down to see why. She knew that Luz was probably half asleep or something. The blight couldnt say that she wasnt at least a little afraid of what lurked in the woods, because she did. Amity raised Luz up a little, shifted her girl so her right hand was free but luz was still behing held bridal style.

She quickly drew a circle in the air, watching as the magic formed into a baseball sized, glowing, orb. She shifted luz again as the the ball of light floated above her shoulder as she continued walking.

The witch had been walking down the old dirt path and she had started to see a few dim lights in the distance, through the trees. She sighed in relief and set luz down before picking her up again. She had to shift the human so she was holding her as if she were a child.

Luz had her arms around amitys neck and her head rested on her shoulder while her legs were wrapped around the witches waist. Amity had her tight arm under Luz so she could keep her held up.

Amity now had one free hand snd so she moved the glowing orb so that it wad hovering gently above her free hand, now following it.

The witch sighed, smiling a little. Finally, they would be safe and Luz would be perfectly fine back at the owl house.

She started to speed up a little before she flinched and spun around, hearing a loud boom. She watched as droplets of acid began to fall from the sky behind them. Her eyed widened and she turned bsck around and began to jog twards the owl house, being carefull with luz who was still asleep somehow.

Amity and luz managed to make it to the house in time and Amity hsd to explain what had happened to luz.

Annd amity was stuck at the owl ladys house because of night and the boiling rain.
