11. Growing Pains

Ooka walked down the street, considering multiple locations as to where Dazai might be imprisoned. "They wouldn't kill him right away. His previous position is too important for that. Unless Mori has plans for him... " Her mind drifted off to Emil. "That's right. Osa-kun was kidnapped before he got back to the dorms so he didn't see Emil yesterday."

She quickly rushed back to the dorms to check on her precious puppy, "Since the Mafia is after me as well, they better leave my sweet puppo the hell alone."

Reaching the dorms, she ran up the stairs and pulled out her keys. She unlocked the door and slammed it open. The brown pup whined as she heard the floor creaking in her bedroom, her mind went on autopilot to save her dog. She charged in and found a person in a long coat kneeling in front of Emil.

Grabbing the ends of their coat, she pulled and hauled the person over her back. Slipping the taser out of her bag, she immediately zapped the intruder at full power. Deeming them thoroughly cooked, she nodded with a huff at her victory and turned to Emil, "My baby! Did that mean person try to take you away away from me?" She slid across the floor and picked him up.

He barked happily at her and began to lick her face, excited to see his owner home. Ooka chuckled and coddled him, "I missed you too, buddy." Emil looked at the unconscious man, tongue wagging and hopped out of her arms, biting at the intruder's pants.

"Alright. Let's see who this is." She walked over and turned him around, revealing a mop of beautiful blonde hair. She gasped, "Kishi Yusuke? What the hell is he doing here?" She sat there for a bit, processing the situation.

Chibi Ooka couldn't resist and reached up to touch his hair, petting it softly, "His hair's so soft and fluffy." Her blank face switched to a more blissful one from the feeling of his smooth hair.

Her eyes snapped open and she ripped her hand away from him, "Distracted! He's supposed to be the enemy! But his hair is so soft." Ooka reached over to pet him again but Emil barked at her, bringing her back to reality. "Right! Enemy!" She glanced at the unconscious male again, "But what the hell is he doing here?"

She wouldn't be able to find out until he woke up, doubting he'd be getting up anytime soon due to her assault. She sighed and grabbed his arms, dragging him over to her bed. Emil attempted to help by latching his teeth into a leg. Yusuke groaned at the dog chomping at his leg.

Ooka sweatdropped, "Uhh, Emil. You're hurting him. I've got it." She unceremoniously dropped him on her bed and stood over him.

Her hand covered her mouth in thought. "I can just leave him outside, take Emil and go look for Osa-kun." She shook her head at the idea. She wasn't that heartless. She couldn't just leave him here by himself either. She had no choice but to watch over him until he woke up. Emil barked up at her and she turned her head to look at him, "What was that?" He sniffled his nose and barked again.

She raised an eyebrow, "You might actually have a point there buddy. Maybe we should try that." She crouched down next to Yusuke, then punched his stomach with all her strength.

The poor, unsuspecting male shot up from having the air knocked out of him, coughing violently. Ooka had her head resting on her fist, waiting for him to finish. Yusuke finally calmed down after a minute and looked around, seeing a bored looking ravenette hovering next to him with Emil at her side.

"What are you doing here, Yusuke?" She asked him.

His eyes darted between her and the window. "Don't even think about it. I want to know why you're in my room or else you'll get another shock session." She held the taser threateningly at him, "And what I shocked you with before is nothing compared to the highest setting."
