Septembet 1st 1992
It was finally the day I go back to school. I got up really early in the morning, even before dad. I went into the kitchen and ate some breakfast, also making a sandwich for the ride. I know I will be really hungry, even before seeing the Trolley Lady on the train.
Two hours later, it was finally the time to leave. I had trunk in front of the door waiting for dad to come. When he was finally there, we went out of the house, apparating to King's Cross station, leaving Spinner's End behind for the rest of the school year. Thankfully, for wizards, the King's Cross station was really busy even at a very early hour. We ran through the portal which separates the wizarding world with the muggle world settled between platforms 9 and 10. There, I got on the train dragging my heavy trunk behind me. I stopped when i saw an almost empty compartment. In there I saw only a girl with big hair, having her head buried into a book. I opened the compartment's door, making the girl look up. It was Hermione. I smiled and let myself in. I didn't even sat down she immediately got up and hugged me.
"Hey Hermione. Nice seeing you again.", I smiled and pulled away.
"Hello Evelyn.", she smiled too and sat back down. I sat down too and pulled out one of my dad's books I found in the library. I started to read it. After a while, the train was already far away from the platform. I looked at Hermione. She was reading too. I saw she was really focused. Without any warning I got up and opened the compartment's door. I looked on either side. When I saw there was none of the ones I've been looking for I went back in.
"What's the matter?", I heard Hermione ask.
"I was thinking- where are those idiots? I mean,", I looked at my watch, "we've left for at least an hour."
"Well saying that, you might be right", she said getting concerned. I shrugged and sat back down. "What if they've got in trouble?"
"That's most likely", suddenly the compartment's door open. I looked over thinking it could be Harry and Ron. But it was only Raven.
"There you are. I couldn't find you anywhere.", she said nodding her head to Hermione. "Granger"
"Lestrange", said Hermione coldly.
"I see you're still not over what my uncle said", she told her while smirking. I looked at her confused. I thought she was on the same team. I wanted ti say something but Hermione cut me off.
"I see you still hasn't changed", she fired back. I looked at Raven scoffing, then smirking.
"Whatever. Evelyn I will see you at Hogwarts.", she said before storming out of the compartment. Then I heard Hermione giggle. I looked back to her.
"What was that all about?"
"Oh Raven haven't told you?", I shook my head. "Well we've planned this over the summer. We have to play cold with each other so her cousin won't get suspicious then tell on her. And of course I agreed. She is really nice to be honest.", she returned back to the book she was reading. I looked outside still processing what she just told me.
Around three hours later, I saw something strange outside. I looked closer and saw something flying, something big. I couldn't distinguish what it was. I saw it was getting closer and closer, then I saw it. It was an Anglia Ford flying by the train. Really confusing. I've never saw such car flying even in the wizarding world. I looked even closer, trying to figure out who was driving it. I couldn't see that clearly but I could distinguish their hair color. It seemed like the one in the driver seat had red hair and the other was a brunette. At this point I was sitting up, not caring if Hermione noticed. I was starring out the window at the flying car. Suddenly, a thought popped up into my head. I gasped.
