Luke's family take the news so easily, that I'm kind of taken by surprise. Walt doesn't say much, like usual, and Elizabeth is just very compassionate. Saying she understands me, understands my guilt and having the drive to go back to Toronto.

When we've decided I'm leaving on Thursday, which is in 3 days, it feels like an incredible amount of weight has fallen off my shoulders. I'm having a sad 5feeling, considering I'll have to say goodbye to Luke again. But also tons of excitement for Ashton, because damn, I miss him every day. His giggles, his smiles, his great listening times and his passion for several things.

And before I know it, it's Thursday. Thursday morning. My phone buzzes me awake and I unwrap myself from Luke's arms. He's still asleep, luckily.

Hey there gorgeous, how's life?
Thinking about you
X - Ash

A smile spreads across my face. I've decided not to tell him that I'm coming over to Toronto. In case my dad would figure it out and become mad or something; I'd rather not.

I can't wait to see him. I bury my face in Luke's arms and just feel the big grin spread over my face. Oh, how I miss Ashton.

'Mmmm...' I hear Luke whisper in my ears. With my smile, I turn around and meet Luke's face. His blue, tired eyes look at me, before he blinks a couple of times and looks at me again. 'Hey precious, good morning.'

I kiss his forehead and he hugs me tight. 'Oh, how I'm gonna miss your cuddles...'

At 11 AM, we head for the train station. Walt is so kind to drop us off, Elizabeth stays at home. She wipes away some tears when we say goodbye at the porch.

'Oh.... how such a wonderful child you are. You're blossoming, and you're always welcome to come back. Even if Luke's not here.' She puts her hand on my cheek and looks into my eyes for a moment. 'You brought something new to this family, no one else could've done. You brought something to Luke, no one else can take away.'

Tears roll down my cheek as I hug her tightly. She has the biggest heart, I'll never, ever forget her.

Luke takes my hand and we walk to the car. He opens the car door and guides me inside. He's so gentle, sweet, attentive. A proper man. Wow.

'Ready to go Walt,' he says as he plants a kiss on my right temple. He wraps his arms around me, and we sit there, in silence, in the back seat. Walt is driving, in all silence, the air flowing through the open windows with ease. The engine of the car makes a constant sound, and I close my eyes. How I will miss Luke too... Everything of him is so great, so sweet, so gentle. So full of manners and gratitude. And passion. And love.

At Buffalo's train station, I hug Walt tightly and thank him so much for everything he's done for me. What a hero. Never complained, never showed me the door. We hadn't talked much, but I did care.

'Take care Tessa,' he smiles, as he pets my shoulder twice with his big hand. 'Luke, go grab you stuff.'

'Stuff?' I frown and look at Luke, who walks over to the car's trunk and grabs a backpack. 'What... what are you doing?'

Luke smiles as he takes my hand and nods to Walt. 'Thank you,' he smiles, as Walt makes a greet with his fingers on his hat. 'I'll call when I'm coming back!'
