"Escaping without your husband, huh? And with a baby on the way; I've never seen a pregnant woman run so fast." Nico taunted as he smiled softly.
"I wouldn't have been running if it wasn't for you." Jenna spat, and Nico only chuckled.
"I was really hoping you wouldn't try to escape." Nico mumbled, his face mere inches from Jenna, who was tied to a chair. "I don't want to hurt you. Or the baby."
Jenna rolled her eyes, "don't give me that crap. You have never cared about me or my family."
"You don't know that." Nico countered.
"Yes I do! You are a sick twisted bastard that doesn't deserve to have all this power."
"And yet here I am. And here you are. Tell me, Jenna," Nico got close to her face, his nose mere inches from hers. "Do you remember that night?"
Jenna gulped, leaning her head away from his. "I remember nothing."
Nico licked his lips, his eyes trailing down her body only for the delight of her disgusted expression. "Mmm, that's a shame. It was magical."
"I was drunk. I had no idea what I was doing." Jenna growled, her tone obviously showing her frustration. Nico shrugged.
"I think you're mistaken. You took your clothes off for me. I remember it clear as day. If you weren't pregnant you'd be just as beautiful as I remember."
Before answering Jenna spat in his face which made him step back. "I gave you no consent, asshole! And you can just stand there and act like you cared for me? You took advantage of me! I think you're the one who isn't remembering correctly."
Nico scoffed, his nose scrunching up in some sort of anger. He quickly pushed Jenna's chair against the wall, wiping his face and giving her a glare that could kill. "That didn't mean I didn't love you!" He shouted, before calming himself down. "I loved you, but you showed no interest in me since my dad was the ninth bishop."
Nico gazed in awe at the beautiful girl dancing in front of him. She was quite a ways in front of him. Nico was on the outskirts of the party room, while Jenna was in the middle of the dance floor dancing her heart out. She had a drink in her hand, but she had no one to dance with. Nico was dying to walk over and ask for a dance, but everyone in his small school class hated him because his father was the unforgiving ninth bishop.
As his mind raced with the possible answers she could give him he decided it was all or nothing. He set down his drink onto a side table before slowly making his way through the crowd. He nudged through a group of guys, his eyes leaving Jenna's figure for a slight second. A slight second was all Tyler needed to slip in unnoticed to talk with the beautiful girl first. Of course, it was not Tyler's intention to steal Nico's chance, but he did and that is what angered Nico.
Nico furrowed his eyebrows as she saw Jenna wrap her arms around Tyler's neck as she laughed. He frowned, his heart crushing into two at the sight of the girl he loved embracing someone else as they swayed.
He couldn't read lips but Tyler was clearly trying to make her laugh and he was succeeding. Nico's nose scrunched in anger, and clenched his fists. Tyler wasn't going to just get away with it. He couldn't, that was his girl he stole.
He turned around to see two couples walking up the stairs towards the bedrooms. He smiled softly at the thought of that being him and Jenna. That's when he got the mischievous plan. He'd wait until she is drunk and then happily take her into the room identifying himself as Tyler. Not only would he get the satisfaction, but he'd get back at Tyler. He grinned devilishly at his plan.
and that's when he made the choice to never let anyone mistreat, ignore, or take what was his ever again.
Tyler found out shortly after, which is one of the reasons he hated Nico the most. It fueled his anger towards him like a hungry fire.
"You're a monster." Jenna spat, and Nico flinched at the insult.
"Yeah, well I could say the same about you." Nico huffed, turning around and waving his hand towards the big double doors of the chamber they were in. "Bring him in!"
The big doors opened, Jenna leaning in slightly in anticipation for what was to appear. Two red cloaked bishops came marching in, and in the middle of them was a struggling Tyler, trying his best to get out of their grip. "Don't you fucking touch her! Don't hurt her! I'll kill you!" Tyler screamed, thrashing his legs and arms.
"Tyler!" Jenna spoke to assure him, and he immediately stopped, his breath heaving as he examined her. He had a small bloody nose, the blood smeared over his face from all of his thrashing.
As he realized her binds to the chair he thrashed again, his face heating up in rage. "I'm going to fucking kill you! Let her go!"
Nico hushed him calmly, shaking his head. "I'm not going to hurt her, Tyler." Although his words were calm, the anger was relevant in his tone. Tyler tugged his arms, however the bishops' grip was tight. Before Tyler could speak, Nico kicked him in the gut, the bishops releasing him and his body curling into a ball at the discomfort.
Jenna jolted up in instinct although her hands were tied to the chair. She couldn't move and help him. "Stop!"
Nico glanced over his shoulder towards Jenna, before back at Tyler who was still lying feebly on the ground. He pointed at Tyler. "This is who you chose. A pathetic coward. He couldn't protect you even if he tried."
"At least he had the courage to talk to me unlike you. You were the coward!" Jenna tugged her arm as she tried to unbind the tight ropes. Tyler seemed to be able to regain his position, the bishops grasping him in place again.
Nico squinted his eyes slightly in concentration as if it would shoot a laser beam into her skull. "Andre! Bring me the FPE burn."
"No!" Tyler screamed, lunging towards Nico. The two bishops grip on him were too quick. He would've grasped Nico's neck if he could.
Nico didn't even flinch as he tisked teasingly. He shook his head. A huge devilish smile formed on his lips. "Not her." Nico waved his hand to signal a bishop to remove Tyler's shirt. "You." Nico nodded towards Andre who took the FPE label out of furnace.
"No, Nico. Please." Jenna begged, shaking her head as she began to squirm in her seat with the anxiety flowing through her bones. Although Tyler was in a painful situation he couldn't help but be relieved. He could stand the burn, but Jenna was a different story. That hurt him mentally.
As the hot metal traced his skin, he gritted his teeth. Tyler only allowed himself to groan, his head falling back in pain. It felt like a thousand needles aggressively jabbing his entire back, it was so painful it spread through his chest. Nico just smiled, the feeling of revenge settling in his stomach and becoming satisfaction.
That wasn't part of their plan at all. And Jenna couldn't help but blame herself as she sobbed.

A lot of story to unravel here... also sorry for it being so dark and gory. I honestly prefer it that way.
