I stood at one of the receptions, to get myself registered. "May I please have your identification so I can check you into the pokemon village." The woman said. I gave her my pokedex. "Could you please tell me where I could find a pokemon league guide?" I asked as she typed in something and gave me my pokedex. "Oh, it's here. And please press this button to know the field your first match will be in." She said as she me a guide and pointed at the red button.
I pressed it and one after one, the borders glowed. I pressed it again as it moved slower and stopped. "The grass field it is. Now the system will choose your opponent." She said as she typed in something. A girl, 2 years older but of same height came into view, she was cute. "Her name is Amy. You're the first match. Be there by 11 am. And, good luck!" The woman said.
"Oh, by the way, you will be sharing your dorm with another trainer." She said. "Oh, may I get their name?" I asked. She said, "His name is Ritchie. Here is the dorm key." and handed me the key. "Thank you! Have a nice day!" I said, and went away.
"Y/n Oak, you have a call." Was announced over the intercom. I walked to the video-phone and picked the call. It was Gramps. "Oh, hey Gramps!" I greeted, smiling at him. "Hey Y/n. I called to ask if you wanted to swap some pokemon." He told and I nodded. "I do actually. I'd like to swap my half team for my Eevee team. Linnea, Sakura and Tamao." I said. "So, Leafeon, Espeon and Umbreon." He said and I nodded. "Ok, place your pokeballs one by one and I'll transfer your Eevee team there." I did as he told, and one by one, Ducky, Hydro and Coco were with gramps while I got half my Eevee team. "They're here Gramps, arigato!" I told and smiled. "Your pokemon reached too. Good luck." He said as the call ended.

While on my way out, I bumped into someone, making them almost fall down, but I grabbed their wrist before they could. I saw it was my opponent, Amy. "I-I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking." I apologized. "No no, it's my fault too. I shouldn't be running on a busy lane. Wait, you're Y/n Oak, my opponent, I'm Amy." She said. "Nice to meet you Amy, lets do our best in the match." I said, offering my hand for a handshake. She shook it firmly and said, "Nice to meet you too. And yeah, lets do our best." After that, we talked for awhile. She was very nice and friendly. We got to know each other, and found out we have many common things, like how we name our pokemon, use stickers on our pokeballs, how we make pokefood and so much more. "This is Sparky, my Pikachu." Ritchie introduced me to his pokemon. "Hi Sparky, nice to meet you. I also have a Pikachu. Zip, come out!" I said, sending out Zip. Her and Sparky became all lovey dovey...
