Gotta catch 'em all (Ash x reader)

ch-11 A new region

(That's what you would be usually wearing, just rather than red, imagine a beautiful shade of green, one that matches the reader's eyes.)

I played on my phone, as Ash and Alexa talked. "Passengers please fasten your seat belts as we are about to land." Was announced as Ash looked over my shoulder, seeing the Kalos region come into view. "You should fasten your seat belt you know. Don't want my babes falling down or getting hurt on his first day in a new region." I said, finally looking at him. "R-Right." He said, fastening his seat belt. I didn't care for mine as I didn't unfasten it during the flight anyways.

We finally landed, and the first thing we both did was yell, "Hey Kalos region! Ash and Y/n from Pallet town are finally here!" "Woah, it's the Kanto champion." "Look, the Unova champion." "No, she's the Johto champion!" People whispered, looking at me. "Looks like you're famous alright." Ash pouted and I chuckled, patting his head/hat. Two Spritzees flew in the air, catching his attention. 

"Never seen those pokemon before--" and he slipped and I cringed, as he fell down the stairs and landed on the ground in a daze. I chuckled before practically jumping/skipping down the stairs and help him up. "Gomen, I think I jinxed it." I apologized. "It's alright. Hey, who're those pokemon?" He asked, looking at the spritzees. "Oh, they're spritzees, I have one, don't you remember?" I asked. "Oh yeah, but I never got to see it in battle." he said. "Now, the first thing I wanna do, is a gym battle!" He started running, before Alexa stopped him. "Hey, where are you planning to get a gym battle?" She asked. "Oh that's easy, your sister is a gym leader right? At her gym!" he replied back.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you Ash, but her gym isn't here in Lumiose city, it's in Santalune city." she told. "Aww man. What do I do now?" he sulked. She said something about giving her sister a call, and jogged away. "Hey, so uh... I have to like go somewhere. The professor's lab to be exact. I got permission to keep 10 pokemon with me, but that rule doesn't really apply in Kalos, so like, I have to get them registered, and have to get some of my pokemon transferred to the Kalos region lab. so I need to go too. Win that gym battle for me." I said and pecked his cheek, then went away to the lab. 

~Time skip~
I was just about to exit the lab when someone came running in, making the person fall on top of me. I looked up to see a girl, 5 maybe 6 year old on top of me. She got off, apologizing multiple times, before someone came in too. "Professor Sycamore! Are you here?" It was Ash, and he held a... Froakie. And it was injured. Professor came into view and when he saw Froakie, he immediately ran to Ash. "You know this Froakie professor?" "I sure do. Sophie, come quick." Professor picked up the Froakie, as Sophie came running to us. She took Froakie for treating it.

Professor said something about Froakie's trainer giving up the water-type starter and it broke my heart. Someone else also came into the lab while panting, he look tired. He walked towards us, falling down on his knees in exhaustion. "You're so slow!" The small girl said and pouted. I'm growing more and more confused. "How's Froakie?" the boy asked. We all went to where Froakie was being treated. Ash and the other two looked worried for Froakie, and so was I. 

"There's nothing to worry about. Sophie is the absolute best at what she does." Professor Sycamore reassured. We all sat down as they all introduced themselves. "I'm Y/n, and this is my partner, Coco." I introduced myself, sending Coco out. "A Laneon, I heard it was almost a legendary, considering there are only 2 or maybe 3 of them discovered yet." Professor said. "Me, Pikachu, Y/n and her pokemon came all they way from Pallet in Kanto." Ash said. "From Kanto?" "Yeah, we are on a journey to become pokemon masters!" I said.

"Then welcome. Forgive me for not thanking you yet for saving Froakie." "The truth is, Froakie saved us! So, what's the deal with Froakie's trainer? What happened that would make them give Froakie up?" Ash asked. Professor explained how Froakie didn't really listen to it's trainer and even ran away many times just because it didn't like it's trainer. Suddenly, we heard a Garchomp, making us turn in that direction.
