When Mentor's Sick

Mentor was the father figure Jayden had always wanted in his life. They may not have been related by blood, but they had a strong father-son relationship. This was noticeable to all of the rangers. 

Before the beginning of the rangers, Mentor and Jayden looked after one another. This would be during times of illnesses or if they simply needed someone to talk to. When the rangers first became a team, they were all healthy and fit and while they still are someone was bound to get sick at one point. Alongside the rangers, Mentor continued a healthy lifestyle himself. If anything, he was just as or more fit as the rangers. 

So when Mentor got sick, they were all surprised. Mentor had never gotten sick, but this was the first time the rangers had seen him ill. However, this wasn't the first time for Jayden. He knew exactly what his Mentor liked to eat and drink when he was ill, and he knew that if he were sick himself Mentor would've done everything in his ability to help Jayden. It was a reciprocal relationship, the both helped each other no matter what.

The next morning, the rangers (except Jayden and Mentor) were in the kitchen ready for their morning training session. 

"Where's Jayden?" Kevin asked, noticing their leader wasn't in the room. 

"I don't know. Do you think he slept in? Cause I've done that plenty of times." Mike replied.

"No, Jayden wouldn't sleep in. He's like a human alarm clock. He knows not to sleep in." Antonio replied. He knew his best friend well. If anything he was probably kidnapped rather than sleeping in. 

"He's probably in his room." Emily said looking at the other rangers.

"Yeah," Mia agreed "why don't you guys go see if he is?" 

"Ok, sure I'll go see." Kevin said leaving the kitchen with Mike and Antonio. 

After knocking on Jayden's door, he received no reply. 

"Jayden, it's Kevin. You in there?" Kevin asked, still knocking on his door. 

"Ok bro, we're coming in." Mike said, opening the door to Jayden's room. 

When the trio entered the room, Jayden wasn't in the room. 

"He's not in here." Antonio said.

"Then where could he be?" Mike said as the group went back to the kitchen to tell the girls. 

When they arrived in the kitchen they noticed Mia wasn't in the kitchen now. 

"Where's Mia?" Kevin asked emily who was still sitting on the kitchen stool. 

"Mentor's sick," she replied, "Mia went to give him some food." 

"Wait, Mentor's sick? Does that mean no training?" Mike replied, hoping for no training. 

"We're still having training whether Mentor's sick or not." Kevin replied, whacking Mike's head. 

"Hey!" Mike yelled playfully, getting up ready to fight Kevin. 

"Guys, stop." Emily chuckled. 

As Emily tried to break up the boys' play fight, Mia ran into the kitchen. 

"Guys, you have to see this." She said, addressing all of the rangers in the room. 

When she gathered all of their attention, she quickly led the group back to Mentor's room.
