An hour had passed, and the rangers had watched Jayden's special life events. They saw several of Jayden's birthdays, although they weren't celebrated too much. After his father died, Jayden hated birthdays, he said so in one of his video entries, so he would only have a quiet celebration with mentor and Rose.

They also saw the progression of Jayden's training. They couldn't beleive how young Jayden had started training. He wasn't as good as he was now, obviously, but he was much better than all of them at that age.

However, Jayden's skills weren't the only thing that progressed. Jayden had asked Rose out on her 14th birthday, they had been dating ever since. From the most recent video entry the rangers had watched, Rose and Jayden were 18. But the problem was, Rose was sick. When Rose was 17, she had gotten leukemia.

The next few journal entries focused on Rose. They showed Rose's journey in the hospital, and while she was there Jayden had been by her side. He made sure he visited her in the hospital every chance he got. But as her conditioned worsened, and the nighlok attacks increased it became increasingly harder for the two to find the time to see each other. But they still managed which was one concept that the rangers admired about the two.

Little did they know this would be Jayden's last journal entry.

"Hey everyone!" An 18 year old Rose said. As both Jayden and Rose grew older they both grew into a handsome and beautiful man and woman. However, due to Rose's illness she had turned increasingly pale.

They were laying next to each other on Rose's hospital bed. Jayden was asleep next to Rose, his face in the crook of her neck. With one hand recording and the other raking her fingers through Jayden's hair, she smiled looking over at her tired boyfriend.

"Jayden's had a long day." She said in a hushed tone. "The nighlok attacks are becoming too much for even Jayden to handle. He told me that he may have to assemble the team soon. I think it's a good idea, they can help him and maybe he'll finally be a part of a family like he always wanted." She smiled down at him.

"In other news," she began to frown, "the doctors say my illness is winning the battle. They told me that in a few hours-" she started coughing.

This woke Jayden up.

"Hey, you okay?" He murmured from his position next to Rose.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She replied.

"No you aren't." Jayden said getting up from his position gathering Rose in his arms.

She snuggled closer trying to keep the camera in an upright position.

"I was just documenting." She said.

"About what?" Jayden asked looking at the camera.

"Jayden..." She started "you know what the doctors said about today."

"You're a tough person Ro' you can fight it. I know you can." Jayden encouraged her.

"Jayden," She started to cry, tears were rolling down her cheeks, she tried to stop them but she couldn't, "I'm supposed to die today." She finished quietly.

"Ro'," Jayden said choked up.

He was going to say something else when his samuraizer rang.
