So before I start on this story, I wanted to tell you all my inspiration behind it. So my brother has a ps5 and he loves the Spider-man Miles Morales game, and in that game he has this cool power up where he jumps up and then has like an energy surge coming out of him knocking all of his opponents down. I don't know if I described that correctly but either way it's pretty cool. I found a video to show you guys but that was my inspiration! Start the video around 0:42, and then watch haha!
Disclaimer: I do not own Power Rangers or Power Rangers/Super Samurai. I only take credit for the events I create in my imagination and OC's (if any)

Silence echoed throughout the entire Shiba House. The only sound that could be heard was the sound of a wooden sword against an unfortunate practice dummy.14 year old Jayden Shiba was angry. Mentor Ji was pushing him too hard. Ever since his father had died and his mother left him, Mentor had become a guardian figure to Jayden, and although Jayden loved him with his entire heart, he missed having fun and acting his age. Now, Jayden is surrounded by 10 other practice dummies and taking all of his anger out on the one in front of him.
It was a stupid fight. Mentor was explaining to Jayden that he had already had his break today and needed to get back to training, and Jayden kept trying to explain how he was tired of doing the same thing everyday. The argument got so bad that Mentor added two more hours to Jaydens regular training session and took away his free time the next day.
To say the least, 14 year old Jayden was pissed. In the end, Jayden had angrily shouted at Mentor Ji, which led to his punishment.
"Jayden" Mentor Ji says as he walks outside to Jayden.
"Yes?" An annoyed Jayden responds quickly.
"Jayden I know you are angry. But you have to understand that the-" Mentor started.
"-fate of the world rest on my shoulders." Jayden mimicked. "Trust me I know Ji."
"Then you understand that it's imp-" Mentor tried again.
"Ji," Jayden started feeling irritated, "don't you think I get it? I know it's important! That's all anyone's been telling me!"
"Jayden -" Mentor tried calming him down after seeing Jaydens fingers flick a dangerous red color.
But Jayden kept continuing, "Thats what my father said right before he left, then my mother when she walked out on us, and now here you are preaching the same thing!"
"Jayden you need to calm down!" Mentor tried. The fire was now speeding up to Jaydens wrist and elbows.
"I know what's at stake here. I know that there are thousands of lives in my hands. But it's too much Ji. I - I need a break. One where I can just relax or where we could do something fun." Jayden kept going, his whole body started to turn a fiery orange, red color.
"Jayden look at yourself!" Mentor shouted.
"What?" Jayden asked looking down at himself, and what he saw frightened him.
"Ji- Ji what's happening to me?!" Jayden was scared to the bone now. His body was turning a different color and he looked like he was a bomb about to explode.
"Jayden just take some deep breaths and calm down" Mentor said reassuringly while also keeping his distance from the fire ball in front of him.
"I - I can't!" Jayden shouted, "What's wrong with me?!"
And then it happened.
A huge surge of fiery energy ripped through all ten practice dummies leaving them charred and damaged beyond repair. As for Mentor Ji, he saw that Jayden wasn't going to calm down anytime soon and hid behind the shields when he realized what was happening.
When the chaos had died down, flames licked the burnt trainings dummies and ashes fell to the ground like confetti. In the center of the training grounds, lay an unconscious Jayden.
"Jayden!" Mentor shouted as he ran towards his ward.
As he approached Jayden, he immediately paled. The boy was as white as snow. His eyes were closed but there were black outlines following the path of his veins under both eyes. It was frightening.
"Come on wake up!" He said shaking the young boy in front of him.
Mentor kept trying to wake up the boy when suddenly Jayden shot up gasping.
"Ji-Ji... what did I do?" Jayden whispered in a weak voice.
"I think you found a new ability." Mentor chuckled, relieved that the boy was unharmed.
"But let's get you checked out though before we start investigating more." Mentor said as he helped Jayden stand.
"Yeah... sounds good." Jayden said as he fainted once more in Ji's arms.
There will be a part 2, until next time!
