Parking at McDonald's, I'm craving nuggets and a quarter pounder for some reason, so that's exactly what I’m going to get. As I'm about to cut the engine out this hot tall stud walked passed nearly grazing my mirror and crossed the road soon after.
I've never really been the curious type, but this particular person had me and my concentration at the palm of their hand and my inner protagonist was ignited.
I got nosy for a second and followed my 6th sense, if intuition is a sense. (It actually really is)
I realised what I was really doing after peeping in the dark dingy alley, this was probably going to get me shot, but I had to confirm that my imagination wasn't playing tricks on me, I had to see it through now, so I kept being Curious Gorge trying to figure out what she was into.
Then it happened, in a split second, I’m pretty sure if I had blinked I would have missed it, and with no words it was done, it took a while to register but not long enough for me to not notice that the guy in a black sweater was making his way towards me so I turned back and ran on my way to McDonald's like my initial plan had been.
I've never seen a drug exchange like that in person, fuck that I've never seen a drug deal at all.
I rushed in, made my way to the booth and made my order thanking the angels that I didn't have to talk to anyone but this computer setting up my order.
I was so stunned it probably looked like my eyebrows had been burned off. I could feel my stomach twisting and turning at the image replaying in my head, all this risking is making me hungry.
I paid for the food, found a seat and waited for my order, and stupid me found the one seat closest to the door. I almost let out a loud gasp when the same tall stud walked in seconds later.
Shit she's tall, I thought.
Her locks were tied in a messy bun, she was a magazine cover type and looked good, like if I touched her she'd break good.
I guess she was a regular because she was greeted by the cashier that I didn’t even notice and what seemed like the manager, they exchanged banter and laughed for a few and all I did was stare longingly while she smiled the brightest smile I had yet to see.
"Fuck" I murmured as I stared. I'm pretty sure if I was a cartoon character, I'd be the one drooling uncontrollably.
She made her order, paid for it, walked straight to my table and my brain turned to mush.
'Do I get up? ... do I sit? ... act normal?... okay, normal... But what if she saw me and now wants to shut me up..... Shit, the place is practically empty, she could kill me and nobody would give a damn, the manager knew her, he would help her hide my body and...’
