Chapter 76

Seol A and president Yoon Ina are together at a beauty center. They get their nails done, both shiny from their beauty. Everyone is turning back to see them, men and women of all age.

Y-I: So what made you call me so suddenly?

S-A: you said you would treat me to a nail maker don't you remember?

Y-I : I do. But I'm not stupid I know you have another reason, you don't seem to be found of me enough to just enjoy meeting me randomly.

S-A: you sure are sharp..!

Y-I: Oow you're not sweet at all are you? That hurt my feelings.

S-A: keep that crap for whoever believe you.

Y-I is looking at the kid with astonishment, she scarcely meet people that blunt with her and she is parted between being glad or upset about it. Seol-A is looking back with a professional smile. ( she sure know how to put a facade)

Y-I: So, what did you want to talk about?

S-A: ... How did it go for you and your husband when you got together? How did your family and friends react when they heard about you two? Did you have any weird glances on the street? Was it complicated to be obvious in public?

Y-I: ... (this isn't about me is it?) mmh.. I have to say at first it wasn't going so smoothly and a lot of people were against it but we cleared all the misunderstandings and we proved that we were a great pair, and if some people still didn't get it we would just ignore them. Pretty easy.

S-A: oh... wasn't it lonely?

Y-I: I would lie if I said that it never was but we were together in it so we supported each other and finally we could always manage to cheer up and go through it.

S-A: ... is it that simple?

Y-I: for us it was. But if you don't tell me exactly what is your situation I can't give you proper advice...

S-A: tanks but no thanks.

Y-I: As you wish. But I have to say it could be different depending on your partner, if you dated a sixty years old men for example I think it could be different...

S-A: I'm not into old guys.

Silence

Y-I: could also be different if it was someone of the same gender..

She take a glance to see the reaction of the girl and regret it right away. She look lost and frown her eyebrows, yoon ina had a guess how the girl felt for her friend giving her behavior but now she's sure of it.

S-A: How is it different?

Y-I: (she's not denying it?) you know, our society may be a bit old school and not really accepting toward large gap couples but they can eventually understand it because it still is a men and a women together, making children is still possible and it somewhat look like any other relationship... but gay couple still have a long way to go... people don't understand how two men or two women can grow this kind of affection toward each other and there is the problem of not being able no make their own child. Nature itself seems to go against such an association and our society is using those excuses to reject gayness as a mental sickness or an evil matter...

Seol A is silent. Quietly listening to her lecture with bitterness in her mouth. Of course she knew that. But maybe she needed to hear it to realize. What have she been doing all this time? Trying to catch no Rae's heart is meaningless if the two of them cannot be together. And hiding their relationship would be so hurtful she can't imagine it.

S-A: I'm not gay.

Y-I: but you do love a girl...

Seol look at her in the eyes for the firs time.

S-A: and you're not bothered by it?

Y-I: I'm not. I may have said all that about our society but I do believe that part of it is already ahead and understand that what matter the most is the feeling of love. I'm part of those people and who knows? Maybe you have more in your surroundings that think that way too. You never know until you open up.

S-A: yeah well it's not as if I had anything to announce... I'm still in the middle of an unrequited love. And as I said I'm not gay.

Y-I: (so she didn't conclude yet?) How can you know if it's unrequited if you don't ask the person themselves?

S-A: what make you think I didn't? (I didn't thought, not really... But she kind of piss me off)

Y-I: oh... sorry dear. I didn't really expect she would reject you...

Seol is a bit surprised by this answer. She raise an eyebrow

S-A: what do you mean?

Y-I: don't get me wrong girl I wasn't even sure about how you felt a minute ago, but I did notice some very good vibes coming from the two of you, and even if our cutie pie is nice to just anyone, it did feel like she treated you special. And not just because you're friend if you ask me. But I may be wrong since I don't know you two that well...

S-A stay silent for a bit, deep in her thoughts.

S-A: (she does seem to be sweeter now than she was before, but I guessed it was just because we've grown naturally closer from each other. Could she be right? Is no Rae feeling the same way as I do? But then again I can't be sure and making a move could result in a mess and us parting away... Fuck I don't know what to think anymore. We did have some times with a pretty good vibe and I felt like we were going to kiss once or twice, but that might just be my urge taking advantage of me..)

Two girls are working on our protagonists nails and witnessed all of their conversation. They are both very flustered but keep professional

Lady1 (kyaaaa what did I just hear??? That's some uge drama going on, go for it girl! You're so beautiful nobody could resist you I'm sure!!!7)

Lady 2 ( creeeeepy... omg At least she's out of the league. I sure would hate crossing this kind of girl while on a date...)

Y-I: anyway you can call me again whenever you feel like talking to someone.

S-A : thanks. I'll do that.

( it feels good to tell someone. I have a weight off my shoulders. Never expected it would be her though)
