Within this small planet, there is this egg only known to a few. It's value bears close to none. If someone managed to locate and keep this egg, legend says once it hatches it'll bring a lifetime of fortune.
That's what world renown tomb raider, Yeji, is after. She had spent years and years of research to narrow down where it could be. Until finally, there was a clue that showed her the way. It took her a few days to translate the hint she obtained. She was awake countless hours and the egg was holstered in... a basement in New York.
"Are you kidding me?" Yeji flipped the table.
"Hey! I don't flip you over when I'm mad at you." Yuna defended the table.
"I just found out the egg is in a New York basement."
"For real? You mean to tell me we've been tracking this egg for god knows how long to only figure out it's here in some basement in New York?" Yuna said in disbelief. "I swear to all the kpop gods out there, if this egg is in OUR basement I'll lose it."
Yuna began walking to the elevator of their HQ as Yeji caught up. As they entered Yuna pressed on the button and the elevator door closed.
"You have to tell me you at least checked our basement right?" Yuna asked.
Yeji looked to the side. "N-no."
Yuna sighed. "Maybe I should be the tomb raider and you should be the girl in the chair."
Yeji punched Yuna's arm. "In you dreams, you wouldn't have been able to wrestle that tiger I encountered in the jungle."
Yuna pinched the bridge of her noise. "Okay one, that was a baby cub. Two, you weren't wrestling the cub you just kept cuddling it."
"...we were cuddle fighting."
"You mean just like how that snake you found in the desert cuddled around your neck?" Yuna mentioned.
"Exactly." The elevator door opened and Yeji passed through.
"Yeji-- I-- that was sarcas-- oh forget it." Yuna followed after.
The girls kept their distance a part and eventually split up due to how large their basement was. It was just as big as an entire storage unit building. It was almost like a Costco underground but with less samples. Unfortunate.
Yeji passed through the corridors and checked on the shelves. The took the covers off objects to see if they had what they were looking for. Yet nothing popped out to Yeji's eye. She would think she would see a legendary egg when she would see one but there wasn't anything around like that. There were mostly gadget parts and unused technology.
As Yeji checked a shelf, she heard a scream. Yeji turned to the direction of the scream and rushed on over. Considering how that scream sounded, Yuna must be in some type of trouble. As Yeji turned the corner she saw Yuna with an egg in arms and then someone holding a gun aimed at Yuna. The egg was crested gold and was quite large, about the size of a watermelon.
The armed figure paced back as she was in between both Yuna and Yeji. Though Yuna couldn't do much with the egg in her hands. So the armed figure aimed it at Yeji.
"Are you okay?" Yeji asked.
"I'm good. But I don't think she is, I mean look at that ski mask. Who in their right mind wears ski masks in robberies now? So last year." Yuna insulted.
"You really wanna test me?" She aimed her gun back at Yuna. "Wait how did you figure out I'm a girl?"
Yuna rolled her eyes. "Is today oblivious day or something I don't know about? Girl, I can see your chest in that tight shirt, it's certainly ain't flat. Unless you're a guy with man boobs, but hey no judging."
