The Kidnap Fails

Waiting in the throne room the captain of the royal guard and their Majesties stayed waiting on the soon to be royal guard and the adopted princess.

But Lyra never really liked being called 'princess' but she also didn't care.

The Queen and King sat on their throne while Undyne Captain of the royal guard stood before the few flight of stairs that led to the thrones."where in the world is she"Undyne thought as time was running she was starting to get nervous that her kid will not make it.The queen opened her mouth to say something but she was interrupted by the doors bursting open revealing a tired Cyan and a dizzy Lyra who looks like she's about to pass out.

Undyne quietly facepalm herself and muttered inaudible words before sighing and started walking towards the two."Your late"she said her voice cold.Cyan just looked at her sweat trickling down her face as she said"Only a minute late ma'am".Undyne stared at her before sighing and letting it pass.

"All right are you ready for the ceremony"

Those 8 words sent adrenaline in her body as her eyes showed the obvious excitement she was feeling she turn to tell her friend about how 'this is it' but only to fine her friend on the floor passed out from exhaustion and dizziness.she muttered a quite 'I'm sorry' then followed Undyne to be in front of the King and Queen so the ceremony would start.

The ceremony had begun Cyan had pledge her loyalty to the Royal family and protect them with her life she was given her uniform and badge that had the delta rune symbol to show she is in the royal guard, unlike the rest of the guard except Undyne they all wore armor with the delta rune symbol placed on the armor.Cyan was also about to get her first assignment until-

CRASH!!!!

The ceiling was broke down causing a smoke that covered everyone's view Undyne started to shout orders to protect the Queen and King.Cyan was running back to where her friend was  passed out only to find her gone "LYRA! LYRA WHERE ARE YOU?!?!" She shouted trying to find her friend.

A low chuckle erupted and echoed through the room and the smoke started to disperse only to reveal two figures.Cyan turned and looked at them then her eyes widened one of the two figures had Lyra over his shoulder Lyra still unaware of what was happening cause she was still passed out.

Cyan examined them closely and realized those two weren't any ordinary Rebels those two we're skeletons, the sons of the 'former' Royal Scientist who planned on using the child's soul for experiments he was also the one who started the war in the first place.Cyan knew those two skeletons far to well the taller of the two was actually the youngest son named Papyrus he was wearing a dark purple sweater while he wore a red scarf wrapped nicely around he's he wore dark red pants and black boots,He's right eye socket had multiple cracks on it and had purple eye lights and no one but his brother knew what caused his eye to turn out like that.

The other one had a hood over his skull the hood was crimson red so we're the big strip on his sleeves the rest of his jacket was black his pants where black while he wore gray sneakers and had black fingerless gloves.
He also wore a gray turtle neck.he had red glowing eyes his right eye light was shaped like a diamond while the other was just an oval.He's name was Sans...

Undyne suddenly dashed to attack the skeleton holding the princess but was suddenly blocked by Papyrus holding a long bone he used as some kind of fighting stick.Undyne was actually holding a gun that seems to shot glowing light blue spears Papyrus knocked it out of her hand as it slid across the room she was going to run and grab it but Papyrus attacked causing her to summon her spear to block it.

They we're like that blocking each other both struggling to attack the other.

"Pap let's go we've got what we wanted"Sans said at he looked at his brother his smile never wiping off his face.As Papyrus was about to pull back to go to his brother Cyan picked up the magic spear gun and shot it at Sans.Caught off guard Sans accidentally dropped Lyra while dodging Papyrus was now at his brother's side Cyan rushed to Lyra's limp body going in front of her then pointing the gun directly at them.Sans looked around they we're surrounded by many guards now, Sans then looked at his brother then sighed grinning "We'll be back next time"He said as he chuckled then they both teleported disappearing.

Cyan sighed in relief then a sudden burning sensation came from her hands she dropped the gun and looked at her hands it looks like they we're burned by something, she had burns on her hand she didn't know why.

"Why does my hand have burns?"

"Did I touch anything hot?"

"Is it because of the two Bonehead's?"

She kept questioning herself till her mom Undyne answered her questions
For her without her even asking."It's because you need more training before you can use that it holds a lot of magic and energy causing it to be fetal even just by one shot"Undyne said while picking up the gun.

Cyan looked at Lyra as a guard picked her up and walked away, Cyan was about to follow them till the Queen stopped her by placing a hand on her shoulder."Cyan I have you're first assignment"Toriel said looking at her as she glances at King Asgore a few times."You will be Lyra's personal guard since you both are long time friends ever since you we're both little and Lyra trusts you more than any guard here"Queen Toriel said a gentle smile on her face remembering the two humans playing while they we're small."Of course I would gladly take that assignment!"Cyan responded before dismissing herself and running off to the direction the guard took Lyra to.

She promised to protect her friend no matter what.
