The Familiar Encounter

'What should I do now?'

Lyra thought those five words as she looked at what's in front of her the bunny guard had left once he brought her to a place she thought she'd never live to see.

She looked at the place in awe she has never in her life seen snow before she only read about in stories but it was more beautiful then she imagined.

She began to start walking while the sound of snow crunching with every step she made.

She kept looking at the houses and shops all decorated in beautiful lights and some looked in bad condition but looked pretty nonetheless.

'There are lots of different monsters here'

While walking Lyra didn't pay attention to where she was looking that she started walking backwards.

When she turned to look in the right direction she bumped into someone causing her to stumbled back a little because of the impact.

"Oh I'm sorry"

Lyra said still keeping her eyes shut to recover from the impact luckily her hood didn't fall off.

"Hey"

Lyra looked at the person in front of her then her eyes widened.

"What's wrong?"

"you like you've seen a ghost or something"Stood before her was the one of the skeleton brothers that tried to kidnap her the eldest one....

'What should I do?what should I do?'
Lyra thought as her mind began to panic she noticed sans holding some kind plastic bag.Then what happened next Lyra will never forget as a sudden sound erupted and both left the two adults speechless...

Growl~

That was Lyra's stomach grumbling she must have gotten hungry while she was walking around.

The both of them stood face to face Sans stood still eyes sockets black trying to process what just happened while sweat was starting to form.It was silent until Sans made a 'Pfft' sound then started bursting with laughter.

Lyra's cheeks flushed bright red while the skeleton before her was laughing.

"Hahaha...you..pfft...stomach...haha hahaha"He could barely speak as he kept bursting out with laughter.

After a couple of minutes later he finally calmed down and looked at the brown haired girl in front of him her cheeks tinted with the color red.

He stared at her then started looking for something in his plastic bag that he was holding in his hand, then pulled out a cookie stretching his hand out to Lyra.

"Here, you seem hungry"Sans said giving a small smile.Lyra looked at him then at the cookie she felt like she was drooling cause of the sweet sent the cookie gave off.

Without thinking Lyra bit the cookie while Sans still held it in his hand.Sans shocked by her action flushed a crimson red then let it fade as quickly as it came.

Lyra began to eat the cookie as Sans watched her with interest,he's never seen her before in snowdin.

He just shrugged off like it was nothing.

Lyra then finished and cleared her throat that caught Sans' attention and he looked at her.

Lyra looked at him then wore a big gentle smile as she held her cloak close to her as she said.

"Thank you"

Sans stood there his eyes wide as stared at her his cheekbones started to heat up.

Sans eyes softened as he stared at her.

She then waved goodbye to Sans as she disappeared in the crowd of people.

When she left one question was stuck on Sans mind as he stared at where she was before.
