The Interaction

Lyra had woken up a couple hours ago after she was brought to her room.

"Oh, Is that so?"

"Yeah they we're about to take you but I save you"Cyan said smiling at her noble action.

"Well I always knew you could do it"Lyra complimented smiling at her friend brightly.Cyan was explaining to Lyra everything that happened she was unconscious but thing is Cyan didn't know Lyra was half conscious and heard everything but didn't see anything.Lyra turned her direction to face the big glass doors that led to a big balcony,she lightly pressed her hand on the glass door looking out to the view that she can see through the doors.

And her eyes yet again landed on the one thing she kept seeing as she grew older.

The Border

"......Hey Cyan"Lyra started,The light Greened hair girl made noise of acknowledgement while she was looking at some pictures that where laying on Lyra's desk."Have you ever wondered what its like on the other side of the border"Lyra said looking at the glass."Well I already seen what's beyond the border because its part of my trai-"Cyan trailed off then quickly turned to face her friend,"Lyra you can't be serious!".

"Oh C'mon Cyan you've been through the boreder so many times"

"Lyra the Queen said you're not ready to go and it's dangerous out there"

"Cyan I'm 26, I'm pretty sure I can take care of myself"

"Well I'm 27 so I'm older so you have to listen to me"Cyan huffed she looked at her friend.Lyra sighed looking at her friend then smiled gently."At least help me try and see I've been trapped here for so long Cyan please"Lyra pleaded giving her friend sad eyes Cyan looked at her friend then sighed in defeat as she went over to her friend and gave her a big hug which she returned,"Fine,But you have to ask the Queen first of course"Cyan said,She can literally feel her friends smile grow wider,"Thank you Cyan!!!!"Lyra said as she hugged Cyan tighter then they both pulled away as they both smiled at each other.

The two kept talking to each other than goofed around a bit till their was a knock on the door they quickly hurried to look presentable then Lyra did a fake cough to clear voice.

"Come in"

Then the big door opened revealing a Guard."You're Majesty you will be having a meeting with prince Chara today and The Queen requested you change you're clothes so you will look presentable,he will also be joining dinner m'lady"The guard said.

Cyan physically gagged,Lyra just brushed her off.

"RG 02 you know it's ok don't you have to be formal with me"Lyra said smiling at the guard."a-ah......r-right I'm sorry its become a habit"he chuckled while rubbing the back of his neck.

"It's ok you can leave I'll be out in a couple of minutes"

The Guard bowed then left closing the door behind him.

Lyra stood up and made her way to the dresser trying to find a nice outfit to wear while sat on her bed looking at her with a blank expression.

Cyan then started ranting about how Chars is 'jerk' and how 'stubborn' he is and how he 'doesn't deserve to be a noble' Lyra just ignored her since it wasn't the first time she said that.

Chara was a high noble that lived in the ruins he was accepted by the Rebels as their second in command since he is working for The Father of the two skeleton brothers.He was about the same age as Cyan to the King and Queen he acts all noble like and respectful but when he is alone with Cyan,Lyra,and two skele bros that's when his real colors show.

He is in deed a stubborn person and has a short temper with thin patience but he is still a really kind and sweet guy well that's how he is to Lyra at least.

He has brown long hair which he tied into a small ponytail he has white pale skin and red rosy cheeks he the same height as Sans and he wears a green sleeve less sweater vest and a white polo underneath wears dark brown pant and leather shoes and has red eyes and a golden locket.

Lyra found a nice dress and went to the bathroom to Chang while Cyan kept on ranting.

Soon Lyra came out wearing a dark purple shoulder less dress that reached below her knees still showing a big part of her legs the dress had a crimson red rose in the upper middle part of her chest and her golden heart locket hanging around her neck and she still had her long dark stalkings on not showing any of the skin on her legs.

Cyan and Lyra we're now leaving Lyra's room to the dining hall when they reached split paths in the halls they said goodbye to each other while Lyra made her way to the dining room and Cyan made her way to the Guards dorms.

When Lyra reached the dining room she was greeted by maids and butlers running around to get everything ready the dining had a big dark oak table and many dark oak chairs in every corner of it the walls we're a shade of purple and had large windows that we're covered in dark long purple curtains the floor being the same color but darker.

Lyra was walking to one of the seats till a small maid bumped into her almost making both of them fall.

The made squeaked in surprise realizing who she bumped into"You're highness!I'm very sorry I didn't look where I was going!"maid said looking at Lyra trembling a bit,Lyra giggled and smiled gently at her."Its alright you don't need to apologize"Lyra said as she smiled at the maid, the maid smiled back then bowed and ran off continuing to do her job.

Lyra walked to the table, she was about to grab the chair but a hand grabbed hers and made her turn to face a familiar face.

"It's nice to see you again Lyra"

Chara stood there one hand holding Lyra's.

He brought her hand near his lips then planted a soft kiss on it."Its nice to see you too Chara"She said smiling at the boy without any amazing reactions.Chara let go of her hand then pulled back the chair for her like a gentleman.

Chara sat on the chair across from me.

Soon the King and Queen came and sat down.

They started eating and having small talk here and there catching up with each other and discussing plans and other important stuff.

Soon they we're finished Character stood up and said 'Good bye and take care' the bowed then left.

The Royal family we're still seated at the table in silence until Lyra decided to speak up.

"So.....Mom....I want to ask you a question"Lyra looked at Toriel as she was holding a cup of tea.

"Of course dear what is it"She brought her cup to her mouth and started taking small sips.

"I want to go pass the border"Toriels eyes widened and she spit her tea out and had a short coughing fit.

"Mom! Are you ok"Lyra said with concern in her voice.

Once the coughing calm down Tori el spoke"Lyra, you remember the rules I do not want to discuss this again" Toriel said in a calm tone.

"Mom please I haven't gone outside ever since I was little I never even left the castle before the only place I'm able to feel like I'm outside is from my window and the garden"Lyra said.Toriel started glaring at Lyra.

"Lyra we had this conversation before and the answer is no end of conversation ok,enough"Toriel said trying to hide the anger growing in her voice.

"But-"

"I SAID ENOUGH!"Toriel said with anger lacing her voice.Lyra stayed silent her mouth open to say something but nothing came out.

She looked down at her hands on her lap then clenched her hands tightly."ok...." Lyra responded in a soft voice before standing up and leaving.
