The Promise

When Lyra would sneak out of the castle and pass the border,she would always meet up with Sans in waterfall it became there favorite spot.

But they now mostly meet in snow din since the guards would always catch them and bring them to Snowdin for safety away from the Royal guards.

Lyra and Sans have been getting really close to each other, they both chat,makes jokes,tease each other, and even play silly games.

Lyra and Sans became the best of friends.

But...

What would happen if Sans found out who Lyra was what would she do now?

What will he do when he finds out.

Lock her up?

Torture her?

What will happened to the friendship they created?

Will all be disposed simply like trash?

Just because she's part of the Royal family?

That's why Lyra is here right now.

Sans sitting beside her as they sat in the snow a river in front of them and a fishing pole in the side.

They we're looking at the water flowing chatting here and there.But Lyra couldn't keep up on there conversation, cause she was to worried about what would happen  if Sans found out.Would he hate her?

Sans noticed Lyra lost in thought.

He looked at her his expression began to show worry and confusion.

"Hey,something wrong button?"

Lyra looked at Sans and smiled a small smile "I'm fine just thinking".

Sans looked at Lyra not really believing her.For some reason he kept feeling fuzzy and warm when his around Lyra, it would just make him confuse so he thought maybe that's how you feel when your favorite best friend.

Sans didn't want to push on but his mouth spoke before he could even stop himself.

"Button, listen you can tell me anything, I just want to help you"
Sans said with a gentle smile on his face.

Lyra stared at him for a bit, then looked back down on the flowing river.

"If I disappeared what would you do?"

Sans was taken aback at what Lyra said 'Is that what she was thinking about the whole time' Sans thought.

"I would search the whole Underground till I find you"Sans said.

Lyra looked at him then her face softened as she wore a gentle smile.

"What if I died?"

Sans heart sank when she said that,he couldn't imagine not talking to her again.It seemed to hurt him,the thought of her not being around,he didn't know why he felt like that.

Sans looked at her with wide eyes.

Then he looked at her with a serious and determined face.

"I won't let that happen! I'll protect you until the day I die! I won't let you get hurt in anyway! I promise."Sans said looking at her straight in the eyes

Lyra looked at him her smile still on her face.

"You promise to keep me safe?"Lyra said, a little uncertainty can be heard.

Sans looked at her with a smile as he said those two words, that he will keep in kind for eternity.

"I promise"
