INT. FBI BUILDING
The energy continued to whoosh and the song continued to sound.
The three Hargreeves were still taking shelter behind a desk.
"Vanya and Madelina are in the room at the end of the hall," Diego said.
"How do you propose we get to them?" Allison asked.
"I haven't figured that one out yet."
"You can count me out," Klaus told them.
"Klaus!" Allison exclaimed.
"What? You guys should save them. You're great at all the hero shit."
"Oh, Klaus!" She hit him.
"Listen, listen. Vanya and Madelina would understand 'cause they have realistic expectations of what I am. And what I am is sexy trash."
"You're a big pussy, that's what you are," Diego shot back.
"Guys, now is not the time," Allison told them.
"Why?" Klaus wondered. "Because I don't wanna die? Who does? And martyrs aren't around to enjoy the victory party 'cause they're dead!"
Diego grabbed at Klaus' shirt. "You are going out there...."
"I'm not! Go away!"
"Or I'm gonna beat you, and not the way you like it!"
"That my cue," Allison said, darting off.
"Hey, Allison!"
"No! Allison!" Klaus cried.
Allison crawled through the halls and called, "Vanya! Madelina! Vanya! Madelina!"
INT. ROOM
Vanya kept flashing to her time at the academy.
INT. HALLWAY
Allison strained against the energy and was knocked into the wall and she fell unconscious.
"All right. I'm going," Diego said.
"No, wait, wait, wait, wait," Klaus called.
"What?"
"If I don't make it back, there's one thing that I need to tell you."
"I don't have time for this."
"Please." Klaus pulled him back.
"What?"
Klaus' voice trembled. "You look like Antonio Banderas with the long hair. I just thought you should know."
"Thanks, man."
Diego got up and strained against the energy, trying to ignore the song. Energy surged and Diego groaned.
Klaus rested his head on the floor and covered his ears.
Diego pulled out his knives, using them to crawl on the ground. He saw the unconscious Allison.
"Klaus!" Diego called and Klaus lifted his head. "I'm not gonna make it! It's up to you, buddy! You gotta save the world!"
Klaus poked his head up, still covering his ears. "No, Diego, that's a terrible idea!" Knives clanked heavily.
Diego strained against the energy and pulled a lever which released a rope.
Klaus spoke to himself. "Okay, Klaus. You can do this. You fought in Vietnam. You survived a family of eight. And you once worse a sarong to a fraternity party and got a shitload of numbers."
