The next day I was engulfed the warmth of someone's big, strong arms. I moved closer to the figure, loving the warmth. As I did this, I heard someone's voice. A girl's voice.

"Awww! Aren't they cute!" the voice I recognized to be Caitlin's said.

"Yeah! They're so adorable! Aww!" I recognized Angela's voice next. "Look at how she cuddle's closer to him! Awww!" she cooed.

I started fluttering my eyes, signaling them that I was waking up. I opened my eyes to see two girls hovering over me.

"Morning guys," I said, trying to sound cheerful. I wasn't really a morning person.

"Good morning," they chorused, a hint of teasing in their voices yet, again.

Having enough of the teasing tones, I asked, "What is up with the teasing tone in your voices?"

"Well Angela, I don't think she noticed how she fell asleep," Caitlin said to Angela.

"I guess she just has to look around then," Angela said adding a snicker as she said the last part.

"What do you mean? I slept just fine," as I said this, I looked around my surroundings. I wasn't in my room, I was in the living room. On the couch. But then I realized I wasn't alone. I was lying down on the couch with Alex's arms around me. I jerked right up and hit Alex with a pillow.

"Ow! What was that for," Alex mumbled as he rubbed his 'injury'.

"Why was I sleeping on the couch with you?" I demanded from him.

"You fell asleep last night in the middle of the show. Your head was on my shoulder and when I tried to break free, you'd grab my arm and begged me to come back. So, I slept on the couch with you. Your mom allowed me to do so and basically that's what happened," he explained, sleepily.

"Oh..okay.." I said, looking flushed. "That was sweet of you?" I said as if I was unsure if I was asking a question or stating a statement.

"Well, you know me. Sweet as sugar and hard as ice," he said, winking in my direction.

"What?! Are you kidding?!" I chuckled. "You're as hard as a pillow," I said, laughing.

"Am not!" he exclaimed.

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

"Are too!" I punched him in the chest and that's when I realized he was shirtless.

"Why are you shirtless?!" I exclaimed.

"I don't sleep with a shirt on and plus it's really hot in here," he said, fanning himself.

"I know why its hot in here, cause I'm here," I said, winking and adding slight laughter.

"Well if I'm as hard as a pillow, then you're as hot as a freezer in winter time," he said, in mock seriousness.

"Yeah right! I'm definitely.." I stopped for a moment, thinking of a good comeback, but just failed and said, "Alright you beat me. I don't have anything more to say," I surrendered.

He smirked and said, "So I beat the one and only, Ariana Harrison. I thought you were unbeatable! I guess not," he bragged about his win, while putting a white shirt on.

"Guys, if your done with your little 'comeback battle' or whatever, could we please eat breakfast already? The morning talk shows are over and me and Angela are starving," Caitlin said to us, just as Angela joined her from behind. She probably just turned off the television. Wow! Alex and I must have been really into our little argument or as Caitlin put it, our 'comeback battle', that we didn't even notice them leave or notice the sound of the tv.
