You knew Bucky hated himself deep down. He still blamed himself for everything that happened in the past, not quite able to let go. There was a lot to let go. Far more then anyone should ever have to in life.
He stood looking out the window of the kitchen. His mind far away. You gently placed a hand on his should, causing him to jump a bit, before relaxing at the sight of you.
"Bucky, none of it was your fault. You were under control by Hydra. You had no say in what they made you do. You're not the same man they created. You're James Bucky Barnes." You reassured.
