Liz stood there in udder shock, I look at her with pain filled eyes. I took a deep breath, calming myself down slightly.
"I want to be able to make you happy, but it's obvious you won't let me do that." I turned around, making my way to the front door.
"Amanda wait!" Liz runs to me, pulling at my arm. I stopped, avoiding any type of eye contact. "You broke my heart and I apologized."
"When?"
"Years ago."
"I see." I take a deep breath, letting all my tears fall from my eyes. "You see Liz," I turn to her, making eye contact with her, watching each tear fall down her face. "I've loved you, for a long time."
"So have I."
"But..."
"But what?"
"We both said 'I love you', but the difference was that I didn't lie." I yanked my arm away from her, turning and walking to the door quickly.
"Life is hard without you in it Amanda!" Liz screams as I open the door.
"Guess what, Life isn't Fucking Easy!" I start to walk through the door, stopping when Liz yells again.
"I know it's not easy! But I need you in my life."
I look at her, a face full of rage. "Well, I guess life just got super fucking hard for you!" I then slammed the door behind me, walking away from her house, getting in the car, and driving away. Not one thought of going back.
