Chapter 3

Bella’s POV

We pull up to the house; I assume it’s ours. I was mistaken when a tall, blonde boy walks out of the house saying his goodbye to the other three guys. He walks to the car with another guy, he has brown hair and sort of tan. Both cute, if I say so myself. He opens the door on my side. I jump a bit, making the girls giggle a bit. I give them death glares.

“Luke and Calum this is Bella,” she puts a hand on my shoulder, “And these girls are Maddi, Cecilia, and Sam.” Pointing to each while telling the boys their names.

The brunette smiles, “ Hi I’m Calum.” He says sweetly.

 His outer imagine not matching his inner gentleness. I take in his appearance. He has brown hair with a bit of blonde frosting the tips in one select area, tanned skin covered in tattoos, a eye brow piercing and is quite muscular. He was wearing a dark grey t-shirt, hugging all of his toned features, and black skinny jeans.

“Hi, I’m Bella.” I say and move to sit in the back.

“I’m Cecilia, but call me Cece or Ce.” Ce smiles while helping me get situated.

“I’m Sam.” She smiles and picks up my phone I dropped, handing it to me.

“I’m Maddi.” Maddi blushes. I see her blushing! Awe, I think she likes him.

I hit my head on the ceiling of the truck, causing everyone to laugh except Luke and me. I blush and rub my head. We all move a bit and I sit on the floor by their feet. Calum and Luke get into the car, geez they are huge. Luke squishes in between Calum and Liz.

I take in his appearance. He has blonde hair, quiffed perfectly. His shoulders are broad and he’s not muscular, but toned. He has long lanky legs and his hands are humungous. He’s wearing a black blink 182 shirts, black skinny jean with slits at the knees, black vans, couple bracelets and a black zip up hoodie. His face was a little scruffy, like he hadn’t shaved in a couple days. His nose, lip and ears were pierced, making him even more attractive to me. From what I could see he has neck tattoos and I’m guessing they travel down his arms and maybe even on parts of his chest. Black ray bands covering his eyes, his face expressionless.

Someone coughs and catches my attention as I stop staring up at Luke. I look over to my three friends and they have wide smiles plastered on their faces. I roll my eyes and mouth ‘what’. Maddi winks and nods towards Luke. I blush a bit, being caught by my friends at my new interest. They all giggle and look a me poking me and tickling me.

“Stop!” I giggle trying to keep quite.

Luke looks back at me and his face was emotionless, the girls stopped and sat back again. I just blushed and looked down, feeling self-conscious. Like I had done something wrong. No one has made me feel like this, I was the one that gave the dirty looks. Why am I being sheepish to him? I was the one that acted like I didn’t get two fucks, but here I am acting all self-conscious as Luke stares me down. I look up and Calum was looking at me, Luke’s back facing me now. ‘Sorry’ he mouthed. I just nodded and looked at Cece, a sad face on all of my friends’ faces.

“Here we are! Finally done with the awkwardness!” Jack says as he catches my eyes, holding them. It feels like he’s trying to see if I’m ok. I nod at him and get out of the car behind Liz.

“Girls there’s your house!” Liz pointed to the house next to the one we were parked at. 

It was huge and beautiful. I cold air nipped at me pulling me away from my trance. I look a Liz and smile, all of us girls did.

“Dinner is at 7, would you girls care to join us?” She looks at us, hopefulness in her voice.

“Come on Bella, we can get you your favorite dessert and play videogames.” Jack says putting his arm around me like a brother and giving my hair a ruffle. I swat away his hands and look at the girls. They smile and I shrug with a smile.

“Why not?” The girls tackle me, starting a group hug.  Jack and Liz joins in, even Calum too. Luke just stands there with his hands shoved into his pockets, looking right at me. What’s his deal?

Luke’ POV

“Bye mates, dinner at my place tonight right?” I say to my band mates as we walk outside, my mom waiting for me.

“Sure, we’ll be over early so that we can play some videogames.” Michael says as he ruffles his fringe. That guy has always had a really good fringe, I must admit.

“Ok I’ll see you guys later.” Calum and I walk over to the car and open the backseat door.

I look up and there was a girl, guessing around my age, she must be one of the new neighbors. She turned and looked startled as I stare at her through my sunglasses. Wow, she’s beautiful. I just stare at her unable to do or say anything else, afraid I’ll mess shit up like I normally do. She looks scared, fuck. Why are people always scared of me and my band. Yah we have piercings and tattoos but who cares, we are still normal lads.

“Hi I’m Calum.” Calum says breaking the tension. Always the smooth one, thank the lord for him.

“Hi, I’m Bella” The girl in front of me says. Her name really suits her, beautiful. She starts to climb over the seat; I can’t help but take her in. I get a whiff of her perfume; it smells amazing. I look at her and her adorable awkwardness. Why do I make people feel weird? Damn.

People were talking but I was fixated on her as she moved to sit in the back. Her hair is long and a dark shade of brown. Her body is tall but short, like if I wasn’t a giant she would be tall. Maybe about 5’6. Her body is gorgeous, hourglass shaped. Her boobs and butt are big and cute; it suits her. She has long, slim legs. She is built adorable. What the fuck? I never fall for a girl. Stop it Luke, she doesn’t even like you.

As Bella moves to the back, Cal and I hop in the car. I sit between my mum and Calum, fun.  It’s been a couple minutes and my mind keep finding it back to Bella. I just want to have one talk with her. Her voice is so cute and smooth. 

I’m snapped out of my thoughts by giggle coming from directly behind me. I look behind me and see Bella. She immediately stops and looks down once she catches me looking at her. She seemed upset fucking hell! There I go again. I turn back around mentally hitting myself. Why am I such a fuck up?

Soon we are bad to my house and I quickly get out. I walk over to the trunk and help unload the girls’ luggage with Ben. After we unload, Ben walks inside. I walk over to my mum and the girls, Calum tagging alone right behind me.

I see Jack putting his arm around Bella. I tense a bit. Why am I getting so protective over her? I don’t even know her. Everyone is staring at Bella and she shrugs.

“Why not?” she smiles and everyone gives her a hug.

Calum walks over and hugs directly behind one of the girls, maybe he likes her. I mentally smile. I’ll ask about that later.

I stand there awkwardly and look at Bella, her eyes already looking at me. I get lost. Her eyes are so beautiful; they aren’t fully brown nor hazel, just special. Her face is just breathtaking. I need some way to get to know her. I have to, even if it takes me to come out of my shell. 

They all unwrap from the hug and start to part ways. I walk to my front door as I see the girls walk through theirs. Bella looking at me, hold each other’s eyes for a few seconds. Then she walked through, leaving me there.

Fuck, why am I a little bitch?

I walk through my front door and join everyone in the living room.
