Chapter 17

Bella's POV

I hop out of the shower with still 2 hours left. Wrapping a towel around my body, I start to brush my teeth at my bathroom sink. I look over my body and see every single flaw.

What if Luke doesn't like me? What if he sees me tonight and I'm too gross for him?

I start to breathe heavily, gasping for air. It feels like the world around me is closing in on me, drowning me in my own thoughts. I look down at my hands, they are shaking. I look to my feet and my knees look like are about to give out.

No I can't have an anxiety attack right now. I feel the familiar feeling forming in my stomach. I race over to the toilet and let everything in my stomach out.

"Bells?" Shit if Cecilia sees me like this she will freak out. I gather myself a bit.

"Yah?" I squeak out.

"Open up, are you ok?" she says more panicked then before.

"I'm fine, Ce. You should go get ready." I get the feeling again.

"No you're not. Open." She demands.

I grab the counter and pull myself up, trying to steady my shaking body. Once I have the shaking under control a bit; I walk over to my bedroom door and open it for her. She rushes in and hugs me.

"Oh thank God.," She pulls away and looks at me, "Arms."

I show my skin, and pull my towel closer to me. She always looks out for me and I do the same for her, well actually all four of us do.

"Thank you." She whispers and hugs me again.

"Look I know its about your weight but Bells you're honestly so thin. I don't want you to go down that path again." She looks me in the eyes.

"I don't either, I just can't help but let my mind take me to a bad place." I look at my feet. She hugs me and I hug her back.

"Let's get you ready now. I swear you're a gorgeous and skinny person Bells. I wouldn't lie to you." She rubs my arm and walks over to my shopping bags and hands me my clothes.

I head to the bathroom and try to get all the extra water out of my hair with my towel. I wrap my hair in the towel and start to get dressed. I know not to look in the mirror, so I walk right past it.

When I walk out of the bathroom Cecilia is dressed too, Maddi and Sam are next to her. They all smile at me, I weakly smile back. Maddi has a gorgeous navy blue dress that fits her figure perfectly, mid thigh and matched with nude pumps. Sam is wearing a maroon strapless dress, which it looks amazing on her with black strappy pumps. Cece is wearing a figure hugging black dress, which has no sleeves and clips around her neck with nude pumps.

They all smile at me and we all know what each are thinking.

"Makeup and hair time!" Sam yells.

"Ok I think you should have loose curls Bell." Cece looks at me with a smile. I nod thinking that'll look great.

Once everyone has their hair and makeup completed we look at the time.

"It's 7:45 we should probably start heading over to Luke's." I smile. I girls smile widely and start rushing to finish.

I'm excited to see Luke and what he's going to look like in a suit. He makes me so happy and I just want to be in his arms forever. I need to kiss him tonight. That's all I can think about is his lips on mine, I need them.

"Bells lets go." Cece says while waving her hands in my face. Oops I went in a Luke trance again. I nod and we all head down stairs.

We heard the doorbell go off. I rush to answer it. As I swing open the door, I'm met face to face with Luke who is absolutely fucking hot in a suit. I can't even speak, I just stare.

Luke's POV

I decide to wear a light grey button down with a black skinny tie and black skinny jeans. As I finish putting hair product in my quiff, Ashton walks in the bathroom.

"Hey ready to go see Bella" he winks.

"I'm kind of nervous Ash, I haven't been on a date in a long time and I don't want to mess things up with her." He puts his hand on my shoulder.

"You'll do great. Plus Ce told me she really likes you." He says walking out.

I smile to myself thinking of Bella. I really do like her and I really need to get out of my head. She's nothing like Jenna and never will be. Jenna has always wanted to be popular. It was always brought up and making it the center of our conversations. I loved her but it started to annoy me when she'd say I needed to be more like the popular kids. But none of that matters anymore

I walk over to Bella's house before the guys cause I cant wait anymore. I need to see her.

I get to the front door and I stop to fix my tie. I make sure everything is in place then I ring the door bell. As the door opens im face to face with Bella. She looks so stunning. I cant help but stare at her. She doesn't speak just looks at me.

"Stop starring at each other. Its creepy." Sam pushes past us, making us come back to reality.

She giggles and blushes. I smile and kiss her cheek.

" You look stunning, I cant believe you actually agreed to go out with me."

"I couldn't think of spending my evening with anyone else." She smiles at me.

I really want to kiss her. But I wait for the right moment.

Maddi and Cecilia both walk past us and wink. I roll my eyes laughing. We all walk over to my house and I go to get the guys inside while the girls go to the van.
