Chapter 4

Luke’s POV

I head towards the living room where everyone is talking but stop at the door.

“I’m telling you Calum, he likes her. I know my brother. She is someone that definitely sparks an interest in him. I mean look at her she is perfect for him.” I hear Jack say.

“Jack I don’t know, I mean yah I know he likes her I can tell by now but the problem is he ever going to tell her? Remember when he like Katie in year seven? He didn’t do shit. He never does anything when he likes a girl. This barrier of his needs to come down. We need her to break it down.” I scoff to myself. ‘Yah I’m sure she can get to me. Nope not happening.’ I think to myself and roll my eyes. I keep listening.

“Boys can we focus. No one is getting married or anything. They haven’t even had a conversation yet. Lets not rush thing.” My mum says. Thank God I can always trust her. I decide to walk in.

“Oh look it’s Lukey how was the view of Bella from the front door?” Jack comes and arms his arm around my neck jokingly. He ruffles my hair. We play fight for a bit till mum calls us to help get ready for dinner.

Calum and I walk into the dinning room and set the table. Geez we have a lot of people to feed. We set out 12 sets of plates. I walk into the kitchen and grab a pop, throwing one to Calum. We quickly head upstairs before my mum could catch us.

“Luke? Do u think any of those girls are hot?” Cal asks sitting in a gaming chair while taking a slip of the coke. I shrug.

“Eh I don’t know mate. Do u?” I sit in the other gaming chair.

“Yah the Maddi girl is pretty cute.” He smiles at me. I nod; I don’t know any of their names. I was too busy watching Bella. Wow that sounds creepy.

“Luke? Earth to Luke?” Calum shouts bringing me back to reality.

“What?”

“Dude what’s on your mind? I know you pretty well to know something’s up.”

I’m debating on telling Calum that I like Bella or at least think she is attractive. Right as I was finally about to spill Michael and Ashton walk in.

“What’s up mother fuckers?” Michael yells.

“Hey! Don’t swear!” Ashton yells at Michael. We all laugh.

“Shut up assholes.” Calum says jokingly. We all start a videogame and take a seat.

“So Calum texted us that there’s some cute girls living next door and they are coming over for dinner.” Ashton winks at me.

“Guys fucking chill. No I’m not going to hit on any of them.” I roll my eyes wanting to change the subject.

“Mates there’s a babe in that group, her name’s Bella” Cal starts. I get pissed and turn around to look at them.

“She’s a human being to Calum, sometimes you’re a fucking prick.” I say to him.

“Boom there it is. You like her Luke just tell us.” He says.

“Wait you only said that to get a raise out of me?” Calum nods and Ash and Michael smirk.

“Do we get to meet your girlfriend at dinner? Does she have friends?” Michael says.

“She’s not my girlfriend prick. And yah there’s four of them.” I say and focus back on the TV screen.

“BOYS THE GIRLS ARE HERE!” I hear my mom yell. I groan and look at the lads. They all have devilish smirks on their faces. I grow wide-eyed and try to catch them but they all run out of my bedroom and down the steps.
