17. The Nicole Twins

After the awards ceremony, a familiar voice shouted over the crowd.

"Selene onee-chan!"

Looking up from her medal that hung around her neck, Selene spotted her sister running full speed towards her.

"Ah! Renie onee-san!" Selene responded, taking off in her sisters direction.

The two jump up over the crowd, catching each other in a bone crushing hug before rolling on to the ground. Spectators, including her team, watch Renie rub her face on Selene's as big tears fell down her face.

"Seleeeeennee! I'm so proud of you!" She praised.

Laughing, Selene picked her sister up so that they could stand. Pulling back, Renie saw her sisters team stare at the two.

"Oh hello! You guys did great out there. I honestly thought I was gonna puke at the end watching you guys play," Renie admits.

Busting out laughing, Selene clings onto her sister for support.

"Wow, they really are the same," Kageyama whispers to Hinata.

"Yeah," he replies.

"E-everyone, this is my twin sister, Renie," Selene introduces after calming down.

"Hello!" Everyone greeted with a bow.

Confused, Selene pats the females shoulder.

"Its how you say hello you idiot."

"Hey!" Renie whipped her head towards her twin, "says the one who literally plowed over the dividers!"

"Oi! We won, did we?" Selene replies with a smile.

"Yeah, barley," Renie huffs with a smile.

Her team looks at the two twins, not understanding english at all. The two laugh, just confusing the group even more.

"Sorry, I forget, you guys don't really know English," Selene apologizes.

"Hey, hey! Can we do the thing for old time sake!" Renie pleades.

Sighing, Selena scratches the back of her neck, "I just got done playing a 5 set game though."

"Show us, Selene!" Noya encouraged.

"Fine," Selene grumbles as Renie prances in place.

Selene puts her right hand out as Renie slaps her hand against her sisters. They begin to switch between hands as the pattern gets more complicated and faster. Turning around, the two touch their heels together before turning back around. Leaning back, the two twins knock heads and scream in each others faces. Pulling back the two laugh as their teammates hold their own heads in pain. After visiting with classmates and family, it was time for Karasuno's team to board the bus. Waving goodbye to her sister, Selene took her seat by the window and was soon joined by Sugawara. He smiled at the female when sitting down. On instinct, she handed over one of her ear buds as he put it into his left ear.

"You were great out there!" He praised.

"S-so were you, you were killing it Kōshi," Selene replied slightly chuckling.

Nervously, Selene looked down at Suga's hand, wanting nothing more than to hold his. Though, she stuck with gripping her volleyball shorts.

"Suga, what do you plan on doing for new years next week?" she questions.

"Hm? Oh, right, that is coming up quick, isn't it. Haha! Well, me, Daichi, Asahi, and Kiyoko plan on going and praying for good fortune for nationals," he explains.

"Haha, I forget, you guys celebrate new years completely different than americans," Selene chuckles.

"Oh?"

Watching as the bus pulls out, Selene goes to explain. "in america, we drink till we can't no more and shoot off fireworks. Though, since that's not how it is celebrated here, I was gonna go work out for nationals. I'll have the whole boxing ring to myself that day, since I'm the only american there."

Suga's eyes soften before looking down at her clenched hands that gripped her shorts. Looking back at him, Selene gives him a smile.

"Though, that's usually how it went back at home. Well, I had Renie but she's heading back to America to celebrate with our family," Selene finished.

"Why don't you head back too?" He questioned.

"I was thinking about it, but, my true family is here," suddenly a shock wave of awes over took the bus.

Looking around, her teammates were listening to the twos conversation.

"S-SHUT UP! I-" Selene grumbled into her seat.

"I knew you liked us, Selene-san~" Daichi teased from across the bus.

"Selene's a softy-" Before Tanaka could finish, the said female leaned over behind her chair and grabbed for the males throat.

Sugawara grabs the females waist, trying to stop her as an audible growl espaces her throat. Tanaka begins to screech in fright.

"IM SORRY!"

"YOUR GONNA GET IT TANAKA!"
