9. Kadokawa vs. Karasuno

"Thank you for the game!"

Bowing, Selene makes her way over to coach Ukai with the rest of her team.

"For this games, it's going to go a little different from our usual line up. Instead of Hinata and Tsukki switching out, I want Hinata and Selene to switch," He states.

Everyone agrees as Tsukki slightly glares at the female. Shift her eyes, she gives him a smile before patting his shoulder.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure we win!" The amount of confidence that radiated off of her slightly shocked Tsukki.

"Tsk, I'm putting my trust in you," he replies, taking his position in the player box.

Selene joined him as well while Hinata took the left, front corner, right in front of Number 9. Confused, he stared down at the smaller male as he stared back up with unmoved eyes. Unlike some of her teammates, Selene was ready to jump in and fight. She kinda felt sorry that they didn't feel this way, especially seeing the scared aura her teammates were giving off. Hearing a inhale, she turned towards Suga as he called out.

"Take a breather! You guys got this!" He supported.

Watching as the ball went back n fourth, Selene began to get antsy seeing the point difference. Looking at the positioning, it was about time Selene was called in. As if on cue, Hinata ran over and gave the spiker a high five, signaling it was her turn.

"You got this, Selene! Get us that point!" He praised as people gasped, watching Selene take to the court with the proud nunber thirteen on her back.

Her teammates began to smirk, knowing the tied had turned in their favor. Though, Selene wasn't feeling her usual confidence when taking her position up front. Her hands began to sweat as she took a shaky breath in, already feeling eyes on her. When boxing, it was a lot different since no one knew who you were. Out on that court, everyone knew who you were once you stepped foot onto the hardwood floor. This time, she was in front of the number 9, making her stare up at the taller opponent.

"Your a girl?" He spoke, catching the female off guard.

"Yeah? You got a p-problem?" Selene replied with a stutter making Kageyama and Tanaka look at the female in surprise.

When she usually smack talks, its with confidence, no word is slipped past without a strong lead. Though, clearly, something was wrong with the female as the two who heard her looked at each other in worry.

"Somethings not right," Coach Ukai states.

"Hey! This isn't a girls sport! Get off the court!"

This caught everyones attention as they looked into the crowd. Spotting the corporate, Selene's teammates look to the female who glared up at the male. Instead of taking his comment to heart, she decided to channel it into motivation.

"Hey! Don't worry about what other's say! You go this, Selene-kun!" Out of no where, Suga shouts for his teammate.

Turning towards him, she gives him a wide eyed look. Looking back at her, he gave one of his famous smiles, the one that made his beauty park on his left side of his eye, rise up. A feeling formed in Selene's stumic as her face started to blush. To hide it, her teammates jump back in shock as Selene slaps both sides of her face, leaving red marks in its place. Turning back towards the net, she took a deep breath in.

"Let's do this!" She shouted, making her teammates shout back in support.

"Hm, I guess I had nothing to worry about," Keishin Ukai sighed.

"I guess she just needed a little push was all," Ittetsu added, watching the coach sit back down.

It was the other teams serve as the ball went up and over the net. It was solid, watching Noya struggle to get it into the air.
