Shay woke up early that next Sunday and went out for a run around the neighborhood. She thought she'd probably go around about two or three times.
She started off with a pretty steady jog and slowly increased her pace to a faster jog that she was comfortable with.
As she ran around the block she came across the place she had fallen, or am rather got tackle. She kept runny quickening her pace to get by without any interference. She got close to Betty's and didn't quite feel like she was ready to stop so she decided to go one more round.
As she came across the spot she had fallen she heard a women's voice and a man's voice. She didn't want to appear nosy. She kept the pace she got closer an it sounded as of they were fighting. All the sudden a door slammed and she jumped still willing herself not to look. Until she felt someone's presence come near and then she heard feet jogging in time with her own.
As shay turned to see who it could be she realized that it was the guy that had tackled her to the ground.
What did he think he was doing?
"Hey!" Kevyn said to shay as he ran beside her.
Shay didn't do anything but looked at him roll her eyes and ran faster. He picked up the pace as well to catch her. He was determined. She was his new challenge. Which he was going to accomplish.
Shay pushed into a full out sprint when she realized Kevyn was still keeping up with her.
"What do you think you're doing?" shay shouted at Kevyn winded.
Kevyn didn't look winded or anything. Damn he was in good shape. Well she had noticed the day he slammed into without a shirt on.
He looked at her and winked. "I'm running with you." she rolled he eyes again and cut through one of the side yards.
"Cheater!" he yelled as he followed after her.
She never stopped. "How is it cheating when you're the one who intruded on MY run."
"Well, I apologize but this is now OUR run." Kevyn yelled back and kept running.
She got back to the street and didn't stop there. Without looking both ways she sprinted across to find a car rushing up closer and closer. Her eyes getting wide and she held her breath and felt something hard knock her right to the ground.
Not feeling anything crushing her completely to a pancake she felt she could move. She still held her eyes closed as she moved and felt something hard and massiveness holding to the ground but it was smooth but not like metal but like skin.
She opened her eyes and found that it was Kevyn that had pummeled her to the ground. AGAIN! But then when she tried to sit up she had remembered why he did it. To save her life.
"OH MY GOD! Are you okay Shay?!" Kevyn said as he held her in her spot looking her over for any scratches or blood.
Shay opened her mouth to speak but she couldn't seem to get anything to come out other than air.
"Yeah I think so. Other than the fact that you tackled me to the ground again." shay retorted with all she could think to say.
Kevyn sat up on his knees to just look at her like she was crazy. Had she not realized that he just saved her life? "Well, considering you were almost hit by a car... I had no choice unless I wanted to see you get hit. But it's not in me to let that happen."
Shay opened her mouth with nothing escaping. She closed it and he continued. "And the first time that happened was an accident." Kevyn said looked at the ground before he got up to his feet and offered his hand.
She debated whether or not to take it. She figure she might as well. He had saved her life. Not that she felt she owed him. She didn't trust him.
Knowing what she did about guys like him is that they will do anything to get a piece of ass.
"Well, I think we should walk the rest of the way. You need to get home anyways. I'm walk with you." he said after pulling her to her feet.
"Shay..." Jayson said as he saw her walking towards the house. He realized she had a slight limp and he smelt blood when she got close enough to the door. He also notice another by her side with his hand on the small of her back.
"Jayson." she said with a slight of annoyance in her voice. She could see the worry in his eyes. "I'm fine I promise." she said softer.
Kevyn just kept walking her to the door. Of course with a challenging spark in his eyes. "She's fine. I took care of her. She's a tough cookie no need to worry dude."
"It is none of your business whether or not I worry about her and you sure as hell don't need to ever think you can have any authority over me. Dude." Jayson said strutting with a alpha like swagger. He stood toe to toe with Kevyn.
Jay, in one swift movement had Shay protectively behind him. "Shay go get cleaned up. I'll be there in a second."
Shay rolled her eyes as she turned around not even in the mood to argue. As she went into the house she sent a thought to Jay. 'You should really come in now and not hurt Kevyn.'
'Whatever this guy isn't even worth it. Even though it wouldn't even take me two seconds to take him down.' jay sent back. Shay walked into the bathroom and took a wet washcloth to her skinned elbow.
Jayson came and stood in the door way of the bathroom just to find shay doing exactly what he told her to. He couldn't help but want to taste her and to take all the pain away from her and replace it with pleasure.
Shay turned off the water and could feel a presence watching her at the door. Of course she knew it was Jay. The hunger in his eyes that she felt knew it wouldn't be anyone else. Even though she knew he was there as she turned she jumped a little.
"Are you really alright shay?" jay said with worry in his voice. Shay looked up into his eyes and shook her head yes.
Jay growled as he felt everything she felt all the physical pain. He pulled her to him and held her gently. He felt her try to relax against him but she put the weight on the wrong leg and she collapsed into him.
Shay whimpered a little. She wanted to cry but she knew it wouldn't come Jay pulled her up so she didn't have to be on her feet. "Let me take care of you Shay. Please don't pull away." Jay whispered into her hair.
