"I liked Nathan because he didn't make me choose." I tell him. Chris is up pacing again. I take a seat back on the couch. I can't keep up with all this pacing and I'm starting to get tired of the pointless argument.

"So what, we break up for a few weeks and you go find someone else." His hands fly around in the air in front of us as he yells.

"A few weeks? We broke up for two months Chris. I thought you weren't coming back, you gave me the apartment key and took your things." I say.

He stops pacing now. "You're so full of shit." He spits. I stand now ready to start yelling at him but he stops me. "The only reason we broke up in the first place is because of Italy. You hung it over my head for weeks." He shouts.

It's true. I did. I resented him for Italy. For taking my dream away from me. We went so long without talking to each other and every time we opened our mouths it was to argue with each other. It was always the same fight. We lived in the same apartment, slept in the same bed, and didn't communicate with each other.
