When the clock stroke exactly at 9 in the morning, A bell was heard from the café indicating that there's a new customer who went inside. Jiaqi darted her eyes to the girl walking towards her.

She's been sitting on her spot for about 15 minutes before the time that Xueer told her, Feeling anxious and twitchy and now that the girl she's meeting with today finally arrived, She just wants to be swallowed by the ground.

"Goodmorning." Xueer is too enthusiastic today and Jiaqi felt that something is off. "So why did you ask me to come here?" Jiaqi asked after the other girl took the seat in front of her.

"I told you, right? I want to meet you for the last time." Instead of having a sad face, Xueer even showed her a smile but Jiaqi thought that maybe she's just doing it to avoid creating a negative atmosphere.

"So yeah, anyways, How have you been?" Xueer asked as she put her chin on her palm, Staring intently at the older.

"Look, I'm sorry for what I've said yesterday. Instead of explaining, I started an argument with you." Jiaqi apologized. "It's nothing but would you mind explaining everything to me now?" Xueer replied.

"I will but you need to promise me that you'll forget about me and move on, okay?" Jiaqi raised her eyebrows as she reached for Xueer's hand. "Just go on. I'll listen." Xueer replied as she held Jiaqi's hands tightly, Oh how she missed touching and holding the girl.

"Technically, I didn't really disappered. I followed you everywhere, every single day. Don't get the wrong idea, okay? I'm not stalking you, I just want to make sure you're safe." Jiaqi said, Xueer doesn't get it.

"Eh? So you were around all along? How come did I not see you? No---Why did you hide from me in the first place?" Xueer continuosly asked.

"Yes, I was around everywhere you are. I also have no idea how I made it for almost a year without you finding out and for your last question, I won't give you an answer because there are things we should just keep to ourselves for good." The older said and slowly pulled her hand away and put them on her lap.

"You've learned your lesson now, didn't you? I want you to know that I'll stop following you for good and you should be more careful from now on. This will be the last time we'll meet so just tell me what you want to say."

"I have no much to say though. Can I just borrow your phone for a second? Mine is dead and I need to send my friend a message to cover up for me because I skipped my morning class for this, you know?"

Jiaqi was taken aback with Xueer's words. She didn't expect that Xueer would give her this kind of reaction. She thought that the girl would cry over her and beg her to stay but no, She didn't.

Hesitating, She unlocked her phone and handed it to the girl.

Jiaqi stared at Xueer doing stuffs on her phone. She sighed heavily but the other seemed to not notice it. A few more minutes have passed, Xueer finally looked at her and handed back the phone.

"I hope you'll do well. I need to leave now and head back to my class. Thanks for your time." Xueer said and walked towards the exit of the café.

"What just happened?" Jiaqi mumbled because this isn't what she expected to happen.
