𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙧 || 𝙅𝙞𝙖𝙦𝙞 x 𝙓𝙪𝙚𝙚𝙧

09 // Bed

After they checked in the nearest motel they found, Both girls went inside their shared room with only a few clothes with them since they are also leaving early tomorrow.

The room was painted white, There was a balcony by the left side, A single bathroom, A small table and two chairs, and one king-sized bed for the two of them. Xueer smirked while Jiaqi froze.

"I want to take a bath." Jiaqi said and went towards the bathroom without waiting for the younger's reply. With Xueer being left alone, She started fixing the few things they brought with them.

She sighed. Will this idea turn out great or the other way around? Both of them don't know. They are too young, Both are still students and have no work to sustain their needs.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the bathroom's door opening, Revealing Jiaqi with a white bathrobe and a towel on her shoulders.

"Y-You done?" Xueer gulped.

"Yeah. Obviously."

"Great. I-I--Uhm--I'll take a bath then." Xueer dashed inside the bathroom.

Seeing Jiaqi with only a bathrobe on after getting out of the bathroom made Xueer tense up and to avoid doing or saying something that will embarass her in front of Jiaqi, She went to the bathroom.

Jiaqi only shrugged and continued drying her hair with the towel while sitting on the bed. When she remembered that she'll be sharing the same bed with Xueer, Her face immediately heated up.

"Oh god. There's no way I'll be sharing a bed with her."

She mumbled and soon heard a voice coming from the bathroom.

"H-Hey, Jiaqi."

"C-Can you pass me my c-clothes? T-They are inside my b-bag."

With the younger girl stuttering, Jiaqi chuckled because she found it cute. She searched for the things that Xueer need inside the said bag and knocked on the bathroom's door for Xueer to know that she already have them with her.

Slightly opening the door, Xueer only put out her hands to reach out for her belongings. Jiaqi saw the droplets of water on Xueer's bare arms and she could only bit her bottom lip to control herself.

"H-Here." Jiaqi gulped.

"T-Thanks." Xueer said before slowly closing the bathroom's door.

Jiaqi went back to sit on the bed and shuffled her wet hair with the towel. "What the hell were you thinking, Xu Jiaqi." She mumbled to herself.

Not too long after, Xueer went out of the bathroom dressed in an oversized shirt and shorts. Jiaqi's body heated up even more.

"W-Why are you d-dressed like that?!" Jiaqi widened her eyes as she stood up.

"H-Huh? Because we're about to sleep?"

"Oh god." Jiaqi looked away and mumbled to herself before walking straight to where she placed her bags and pulling out her pajamas. "I'll just change inside." Jiaqi walked pass by Xueer to the bathroom.

Xueer could furrow her eyebrows with how the two of them could never be in the same room for once. Earlier, Jiaqi went inside the bathroom to take a bath leaving Xueer alone and when she came back, Xueer was the next one to go inside and now that Xueer is done, Jiaqi was once again inside the bathroom. Oh wow.

The younger doesn't know why but Jiaqi is obviously taking too long inside the bathroom, She've actually been there for a good 20 minutes.

And finally, The door opened that made Xueer's boredom fade away.

"Y-You're not yet asleep?" Jiaqi seemed surprised seeing Xueer still wide awake on the bed. "I was w-waiting for y-you." Xueer sheepishly smiled and tuck the strand of hair behind her ear.

"O-Oh. W-Why though? I--I mean you could just sleep and not wait for me you know." The bed sank when Jiaqi sat on the other side of the bed.

"Oh I want to know where you like to sleep. On the left side or the right one?" Xueer asked. It is a half-lie and half-truth because she also honestly want to ask that to the other girl.

"I'll sleep on the floor." Jiaqi pointed down. "What?! No. I mean, The floor is cold. We should sleep together on the bed." Xueer stopped her.

Jiaqi continously insisted that she would sleep on the bed but because Xueer doesn't give up and she can't give the girl a great reason on why she likes to sleep on the floor, She just did what Xueer wants and laid beside her.

The whole room was quiet and the lights were already turned off. The two girls were facing the ceiling but they have a big gap between them.

"Xueer."

"Jiaqi."

Both said at the same time.

"Y-You first." Xueer said and Jiaqi didn't dare to argue anymore.

"What do you think will happen to us tomorrow, on the next days, weeks, months and years?" Jiaqi asked and Xueer immediately know that the older feels the same as her, They are both unsure and nervous about what will be the outcome of this idea.

"Honestly, I don't know either." Xueer shrugged. "But we could do this, right? Let's trust and rely on each other." Xueer smiled in the dark.

Jiaqi shifted her position on Xueer's direction and slowly leaned in without Xueer noticing.

"Xueer. Face here." Jiaqi said and Xueer did what she was told.

The lights were off but they could see each other through the very dim light coming from the moon through the balcony.

Slowly leaning closer, Jiaqi closed the gap between them while Xueer closed her eyes. It feels like a hundred years since they last kissed when in fact the last time they did was just almost a year ago.

The kiss started off passionate and sweet until Jiaqi bit Xueer's lower lip and let her tongue have its entrance. The younger didn't dare to fight for dominance because she already know that Jiaqi would win in the end anyways. With Jiaqi exploring the younger's mouth, Xueer continously let out soft moans that made Jiaqi crave for more.

Jiaqi slipped her hand inside Xueer's shirt that made the younger gasped and slightly broke the kiss.

"O-Oh sorry. I got out of control." Jiaqi apologizes and slightly moved away. "I-I think we should sleep." Jiaqi said and faced on the other direction.

"G-Goodnight, Jiaqi."

"G-Goodnight to you too, X-Xueer."
