Jiaqi peeped through the bookshelves, Making sure she won't get caught. To avoid other people staring at her weirdly, She pretended to be scanning the books on the aisle she's in.
She found herself staring at the same girl that she have been following almost every day. A year have passed and so much things have changed. Her hair is now black, Jiaqi likes it but the red suit the girl better for her. Xueer looks and acts (as she noticed) even more matured now.
The girl was busy scanning through the shelves not too far away from where Jiaqi was standing. Don't get the wrong idea, Jiaqi isn't a stalker (well, maybe she does follow her around every single day but she has good intentions!)
When the younger finally found the books she's searching for, She left and went back to her table. Jiaqi followed her. Having a book on her hand, she sat down on a table where she could get a clear view of Xueer. To not get caught, She used the book to cover her face.
"Excuse me. You're reading the book in an upside down position." The girl sitting near Jiaqi seemed to notice and pointed it out in a whisper. "O-Oh. Yeah. I didn't notice." Her face is flushed red due to embarassment.
She started reading again, No---She isn't reading at all, The book is just there to hide her face.
A few more hours passed by, The library soon grew uncrowded. If you were to ask her, Jiaqi would say that she's really bored. Putting aside the book, She entertained her self with the games she have on her phone.
When she noticed that the girl she's keeping an eye on standing up after fixing her things, Jiaqi put her cap on and followed the girl.
The red, orange and yellow hues were mixing in the sky, Sun is beggining to set. It was the view that immediately welcomed them as soon as they stepped out of the library.
Secretly following from behind, Keeping her head low and hiding her face with the help of the cap. The street was still crowded unlike when the sky is already pitch black.
Xueer walked first as Jiaqi followed. The people passing by makes it a bit harder for Jiaqi to keep her eye on Xueer but since the now black-haired girl was the only one who snatches her attention, She was able not to lost sight of the girl.
Jiaqi hid herself behind the walls as they entered the alley. She smiled to herself as she noticed Xueer roaming her eyes around the alley and plastering a disappointed look after.
She's searching for Jiaqi and was disappointed when she didn't spot the girl, Jiaqi knew it too well because Xueer has always been like this.
Jiaqi was proud of herself for not getting caught. It's either Xueer is blind and oblivious of her sorrounding or Jiaqi is just simply good at hiding.
Seeing Xueer getting inside her house, Jiaqi could finally breathe. She knew Xueer is safe, That's the main reason why she's watching over the girl secretly every single day. Once again, This day was a success for her.
Sparing another look at the house where Xueer get in, Jiaqi smiled and walked away.
She might have disappeared from Xueer's sight but she have always been there, Secretly watching over the girl. As long as Xueer is safe, She wouldn't mind following her around every day.

Just to let you know, I'm not so good in writing and still have much to improve so please bear with me first. You noticed the change in the writing format, right? I'll stick with it because I think the way of my writing before doesn't really look good in the eye.
I won't be leaving notes on the end of every chapter, I'll only do it when it's needed.
