Jiaqi was lucky that she pushed Xueer inside her closet before it's too late. Now, Her parents are inside her apartment with some bodyguards with them.

"What was that noise?" Her father asked as he roamed his eyes around. "The c-cupboard in my kitchen. I was closing it before you came in, T-That's where the noise came from." Jiaqi stuttered, Ofcourse she won't say that she pushed a girl inside her closet and it made a loud noise so she'll use this lie instead. Her father nodded hesitantly, Not really convinced with Jiaqi's words.

"We went here twice, Last night and this morning but you weren't here. Mind explaining where were you?" Her dad asked as he made his way towards the couch followed by the bodyguards while Jiaqi's mom went beside Jiaqi and smiled at her.

"Hanging out? Obviously." Jiaqi answered that made her dad stood up from his seat. "How dare you answer me like that?!" He yelled. Jiaqi stood cooly and stared at him with no expression.

"Don't be mad at your daughter. We just met here after months." Mrs. Xu conciliated.

"Are you meeting with that Kong Xueer girl again?" He asked in a scary tone. Xueer who was listening all this time through the slightly opened closet gasped as she heard her name.

"No, I am not." Jiaqi shortly replied.

"We already talked about this. Once we find out you're having connections with her again, I don't need to think twice. I'll ruin her whole life."

"It's been almost a year since I cut off our connections so you have nothing to worry about." Jiaqi hung her head low and secretly looked towards the closet. She knew Xueer probably heard all these.

"As you should. I don't want any homosexuals in our family, They are disgusting." He remarked then the phone on his hand rang.

As he made himself busy with the phone call, Jiaqi's mom faced her daughter.

"Just follow everything that your dad said so you won't have to suffer, alright?" Her mom smiled at her.

"But I'm already suffering with all these shits you and dad wants me to do." Jiaqi wants to say that but ofcourse, She didn't. She nodded at her mom's words instead.

"Dinner tomorrow with us, you're fiancé and his family. You'll go whether you like it or not." He pointed at Jiaqi and walked towards the door after.

He didn't spare another glance at his daughter before going out of the apartment followed by his bodyguards.

"We'll see you tomorrow, alright? Take care." Mrs. Xu patted Jiaqi's shoulder and smiled before having her way out.

Jiaqi sighed as her parents left. "You may go out now." She said and slowly, Xueer opened the closet's door and went out of it.
