The following morning after my run around the island, I took a quick shower washing my hair since it was hair finally a hair washing day. The sweet smell of mangos and oranges filled my senses giving me a boost of energy from the delicious citrus from my delicious fragrant leave-in conditioner. It was a perfect way to start the day.

After putting in my hair products, I resumed to let it air dry for the remainder of the day. A hair dryer was too damaging for my twisted curls. It lacks moisture enough on its own there was no way to deprive of it even more. Heat products were never my friend. Leaving it alone is the best way to go. My only hope was that Chris wouldn't give us a challenge that involved getting my hair wet. After all this work, it would be such a waste if it was left in vain.

Breakfast went by quick as practically everyone sat in silence as we made weak attempts to eat Chef's cold, disgusting eggs. It wasn't worth it. Geoff groaned with a pout, pushing his plate aside in irritation. Nudging him by the side, his blue eyes gleamed over to where I pulled out an apple from my jacket pocket.

"Apple?" I gestured.

"Thanks, Sydney." Geoff smiled gently at me before taking a bite out of the green apple.

"Anything for you, Geoff." I grinned, feeling the intensity of Bridgette's glare. I mentally slapped myself. I need to get my act together. She's going to start to hate me. It was either to play the game to make everyone happy and calm or to play to win. However to sabotage my own team?

It's way too early to even think about doing that at this point in time anyway. There would be no way to antagonize everyone when the first point is to gain their trust. People would pin against me soon for acting like the enemy. Eva was so quick to go home because of her temper. I cannot allow for that to be me next. This had to sot out carefully. Slow and steady wins the race.

"You got another in there?" Courtney asked with a groan as she picked at her eggs, completely frustrated with the outcome of this mornings' breakfast fiasco.

"Sorry, that's all I had besides my protein bar." I said pulling it out of my pocket. "And this is for me. I don't have any to give away." It was a lie. I always have extra stashed away in my stuff.

But nobody needed to know that. Sadie couldn't be trusted. She was found eating all of Bridge's vegan bars while hiding in the stalls of the communal washrooms. It was so embarrassing. At first it was assumed to be a sanitary pad, but the smacking of her lips proved otherwise. Not to mention the strong scent of coconut and molasses filled the air.

Courtney huffed in displeasure, not liking that she would be going hungry again for another day. I understood where she was coming from. Especially since Chef makes sure nothing is hardly edible. Of course we were left to starve. This was probably one of the most harmful ways for someone to have an eating disorder. Well, except for Owen. He's always satisfied. With a sigh, I hesitantly give my breakfast bar to her.

"Take it. You'll need your energy." I said after she took it, looking up at me questionably at my random act of kindness.

"Thanks. You didn't have to." She smiled at me before unwrapping the breakfast bar. I shrugged, feeling it best to just ignore it. There's nothing wrong with a little starvation. My stomach growled in disagreement.

Geoff handed me three of his apple slices that he cut with Duncan's knife that he borrowed. He grinned while munching on the fruit. "There. Now neither of us goes hungry."

"Merci." I smiled before taking a bite.

"Any clue what the challenge is gonna be?" asked DJ from the other side of the table.
