as the crowd started applauding loudly once again, the footsteps of the 5 singers gathered the room.
"what a show! i nailed it this time huh?"
"doesn't change the fact that i was better!!"
the fact that they were all a band together but still kind of rivals at some point bothered me. even from the way they talked to each other i could tell they only care about the fame and not the friendships at all.
it was only my first day here. i'm just nineteen, coming from a poor, torn apart family. living without money basically means dying in this generation so someone's gonna have to work to gain money - if all my father does is drinking, literally nonstop.
"good job girls! we did really good! group hug?"
as i heard them singing while i was cleaning the dressing room during the concert, that's the lead singer. i definitely expected her to be some kind of mean and rude girl who thinks she's better than everyone, i guess she's more like the opposite of what i thought.
"ugh, group hugs are childish, sayaka, get over yourself..."
"ugh sayaka, you're always like this"
"this isn't professional at all sayaka, as the lead singer aren't you supposed to know better?"
wow... seems like they're really mean to this girl. i guess "sayaka" wants to be their friend but the other 4 just keep on being rude. gosh... this girl really must feel bad..
"o-okay! let's just get dressed"
woah, i actually expected sayaka to speak up for herself and tell the others they're being mean but instead she tried to keep her sweet bubbly personality. and all the others did to that was giving sayaka an eye roll.
as i was preparing the towels i was going to give the girls, sayaka went to the bathroom - probably to give herself a break.
i grabbed the towels with the girls' names on them and gave the right towels to all the 4 girls in the room.
all i was left with was one that says "sayaka maizono". taking a wild guess, that's sayaka's. i guess i'll go the bathroom to give her that. it's been about 5 minutes and she doesn't seem to be coming to the dressing room.
as i took my way quietly to the bathroom i looked for her at the same time. if she isn't on the corridor then she's gotta be in one of the cabins.
"miss maizono?"
when i called for her, i got a quick response.
"y-yes?"
i heard sayaka's soft voice from the 3rd cabin.
"i'm here to give you your towe-"
before i even got to finish my sentence she opened the door quickly. there, she was in front of me.
this us the first time i actually saw her.
standing in front of me was the lead singer of a much popular girl band.
with her blue hair and blue eyes,
sayaka maizono.
"i'm here!" she said. i could tell she was tense by even the way she looked at me.
"a-are you alright?" i asked.
"yeah! i'm good as i could ever be!" she said and gave me a weak smile.
"okay... here you go" i said as i gave her the towel.
"thank you!"
her bad mood suddenly switched to a real, bright smile, which actually shocked me. i didn't even notice i froze. i snapped out of it by sayaka's words.
"why thinking about how i can be happy very quickly?" she said, with even a bigger smile.
"how did you kn-" i was saying, but once again i was interrupted by miss blue hair,
"i'm psychic!"
"huh?!" i said, in pure confusion.
"just kidding. i just have really good intuition"
