i slowly walked out of the room and turned right.

and there... the least person i wanted to see.

"hello there, maizono"

standing in front of me was one of my bandmates, alicia.

so she overheard all that?

"a-alicia?"

i stuttered. unintentionally, though. still in the shock of seeing her right in front of me.

"hm?"

she said, sarcastically.

how can she be so carefree?

"why are you here?"

i gave her a weak smile. that was all i could do when i'm mad inside.

"my practice finished early too. did that shock you? well, not surprising, considering the fact that you always think you're better than us."

"i-i don't think like that!"

i raised my voice a little. all i needed was to be heard.

"geez, miss little lead singer, be careful when yelling, your very much important reputation can go down after all!"

she said and giggled. god...

"why'd you listen to us?"

i was in a slightly more serious mood now.

"oh, sorry, did you have important things to talk about with a maid?"

she laughed.

she is not just a maid... she's nice. she's... she's the only person who listens to me.

"well, i didn't even mean to listen to you guys. i just overheard some."

she spoke again.

i see her as my friend... but god, she's annoying.

"we didn't even talk a lot.. she just seemed lonely and i was bored and wanted to talk to someone, that's all"

i said and gave her a weak smile again.

"yeah.. i'll just pretend i don't know the fact you asked that maid to be friends!"

she laughed again.

kiri is my friend.

she is... right?

she listened to me and all... that's what i call friendship..

i just sighed. i didn't know what to say.

yes, i really do want to tell her that she should shut her mouth if she is going to talk about kiri like that, and that she's being nothing but really really annoying.

but then she'll bother me more! and i don't want that.

i still... wanna be her friend.

"but don't worry, maizono! this will be our little secret."

she smiled at me.

"o-okay?"

i said, confused.

"well, goodbye to you now!"

"bye!.."

i said, with a real smile.

well... today i made a new friend!

even though alicia made fun of her, i guess i still see her as my friend too...

it's mean if i don't, after all.
