Author's POV

It's finally graduation week and while everyone is freaking out about graduating, Beca only had one thing in mind. Chloe. Graduating school means she can finally be with Chloe, publicly. No more secret meet-ups, no more home dates. "Good morning, Miss Beale", Beca smiled as she leaned on the door frame and admired her girlfriend. Chloe turned to see the brunette with her arms crossed, "Good morning, you", she smiled back. Beca walked to Chloe who's still facing the board, writing a small announcement. Beca wrapped her arms around the redhead's waist before placing small kisses on her neck, making her giggle. "Good night?", Chloe asked. "Mhm, would be better if I spent it next to you", Beca replied. After done writing, Chloe put her marker down and placed her hands on Beca's neck. "Would it?", she asked with a grin. Beca leaned in to kiss her- but stopped when she heard someone cleared their throats. They both jumped and pulled away from each other quickly. "What did I say?", Emily's voice was heard. "No more kissing at school, especially not in front of the door!", she walked towards the couple. "Oh, we've done more things than kissing at school", Beca smirked at Chloe, earning a playful slap on her shoulder. "Anyways, Lance wants to see you for the graduation thing", Emily informed her. "Why is she so obsessed with me?", Beca joked. "I'll see you during break?", she turned to Chloe. "Mhm, I brought us lunch", Chloe replied. "Oh?", Beca smirked and Chloe slapped her shoulder again. "Actual food lunch, Beca", she shook her head. "Okay then, take care", she placed a small kiss on the redhead's cheek. "I love you", she sang out. "I love you too, now go before she gets you in trouble", Chloe smiled at her and watched as she walked out. "Hey, so I heard about the job offer", Emily said after Beca left. "Yeah, I think I'm going to turn it down", Chloe replied. "Oh?", Emily's eyes widened a little. "It's just- I just know that if I were to go there, Beca would come with me without a heartbeat and I don't need her to waste her future on me like that", she explained. "But don't you think, if she knows that she's the reason you're not taking the job offer, she'll be more devastated?", Emily asked. "Yeah, I know. Well, I haven't fully decided yet, there are much more important things I have to think about right now. With the graduation and Beca's birthday- she has been excited about graduating cause she would be able to spend her time publicly with me, and I don't want to take that away from her", Chloe smiled to herself thinking about a conversation they had a few days earlier.

"Hey, you", Beca smiled when Chloe opened the door. "Hi", the redhead giggled when Beca pulled her in for a kiss. "Mm, I miss you, beautiful", Beca said when she pulled away. "I got you- this", she pulled out roses and gave it to her girlfriend. "Thank you", Chloe smiled and walked to the kitchen to put it in a vase. Beca sat down on the couch before taking her flannel off. "Beale, why is it hot in here?", she asked. "Oops, that's my bad. I was cleaning", Chloe giggled and it sounded like the world's most perfect song in Beca's ear. "Come here", Beca grabbed her by the waist and pulling her down so she's perfectly placed on top of Beca's lap. "I missed you", the brunette smiled while she wrapped her arms around Chloe's waist. "I missed you too", Chloe smiled as she leaned in for a kiss. They both crashed their lips together and Chloe could feel Beca smiled into the kiss. "What are you thinking about?", Chloe asked before getting off Beca's lap and laid her head on the brunette's lap. "Us", Beca smiled while she run her hand through Chloe's hair. "You know, after graduation. We can be together without the risk of getting in trouble", she added. "We could go to the movies, no more drive-thru's, takeouts. Just real- actual dates, you know?", she explained and looked down when Chloe said nothing only to find the redhead sound asleep in her lap. "You had a long week, didn't you?", Beca asked as she placed a kiss on her head. "Sleep tight, Chlobear", she said.

"Chloe?", Emily snapped her out from her thoughts. "Hm?", she asked. "You kinda zoned out a little", Emily chuckled. "Sorry", she replied. "So any plans for Beca's birthday?", Emily sat down on the table. "I don't know yet, I'm sure her parents would wanna hold a party or something so I'm sure she'd be unavailable for the day. I might just make her some dinner and you know", Chloe's cheeks turned red. "Ah, well you know who to call if you need any help", Emily smiled. "I gotta go now, but I see you during lunch! Or rehearsal!", she waved goodbye then walked out. Sitting down, Chloe took her phone out to plan Beca's birthday.
