Chloe's POV

TWO WEEKS LATER

"Are we ready?", Emily looked at her friends as they stood in front of the door. "Here we go", Stacie smiled and nodded at Beca who then used her key to unlock the door. Cheers were being heard from their friends and family who gathered around for the official opening of their store, Bass&Treble. They all walked in and was greeted by the strong smell of wood from their tall shelves that was filled with different genres and titles of CDs. "I'm proud of you guys", Kate came running up to them and pull them for a big hug. "Well, look around, special offer, 15% off for every item", Emily smiled and my eyes was stuck on Beca. She stood in the middle of the store, admiring everything in awe. "Hey, you", I walked up to her with a small white box in my hand. "I know you hate flowers so I got you...", I waited until she opened the box to see her eyes lit up. "French toast! Thank you, my love", she pulled me into a hug.

Beca's POV

"Hey, Chloe and I are going out for lunch, I'll be back in a bit", I said to Emily before walking out to Chloe. "Hey, bub", I placed a small kiss on her cheek. We jammed to songs on the radio while we're on our way to the restaurant. 

"I'll just have some Coke for drinks", Chloe said. "Yeah, me too", I added. The waiter took our orders and left us alone. "Hey, I need to talk to you about, London", Chloe's voice softly spoke up. "What about it?", I asked. "We haven't- you know- landed on a decision yet", she said. "I see", I replied.

"I told you this before baby, whatever choice you make whether to accept or decline the offer, I'll be supporting you, always. And I believe in us, we made it through school and all other scandals and dramas, I'm sure our relationship can handle a little distance. Personally, I think you should go for it. Don't get me wrong, baby, I love you so much but offers like this doesn't come so often and you know that", I expressed my thoughts. "Yeah, I know but what about us?", she asked. I moved my chair next to her and held her hand. "We'll be okay, I promise. I'll call you every hour, every day, every week. I'll come visit and if you want I'll even send you hand-written letters", I joked, making her chuckle. "Whatever you choose to do, just know that I love you, okay? I always will", I kissed her hand. "I love you too", she smiled. "Good, now let's eat and then I'll take you home, okay?", I said and she nodded to me. 

Author's POV

The two girls enjoyed their lunch before driving to Chloe's house to pick up their puppy, Max. "Hi, how was he?", Chloe asked Chris who helped took care of Max. "He was great, although we did had a poop accident though, but it's taken care of", he laughed. "Here, thank you", she passed a 20 dollar bill to him. "Nice doing business with you", he said. "Do you have a ride home? Beca can drop you off on the way to her shop", Chloe said. "Yeah sure, just drop me off at the diner near the skate park, I'm meeting some friends there", he explained. "Alrighty, I'll see you tonight?", Beca turned to her girlfriend who's snuggling the little golden retriever. She nodded and leaned in for a kiss. "Ugh, PDA", Chris groaned. "Be good for your mom", Beca pets Max's head and left a small kiss on him. "I love you", she said. "I love you too, drive safe", Chloe smiled.

FEW HOURS LATER

Beca walked in to see Chloe snuggled up with Max while both of them were sound asleep. She knelt next to them and ran her hand through Chloe's hair, accidentally waking her up. "Hi", Chloe said in her sleepy voice. "Hi baby", Beca smiled. "Are you hungry? I can make us some dinner", Chloe asked and yawned. "No no, it's fine. I'll cook, you go ahead and nap, alright?", Beca kissed her head. She stood up and took her phone out to take a picture of her girlfriend and puppy. A part of her wants to stay in the moment forever but the other part of her knows that deep down, the best thing for Chloe is the job offer.

 After the lunch, she tried her best to get it off her mind but failed miserably. I don't wanna hold her back, she thought. But still doesn't mean that she likes the idea of them being apart for god knows how long. She decided not to put so much pressure on Chloe and just supports her decision, whatever it is.
