five - possess

after classes ended, felix needed to ask changbin a request that he might not agree to. the ghost walks to changbin's bedroom, where he was staying, to ask for the request.

"changbinnie hyung?" felix whispered. "hm? what is it, lix?" changbin looked up from the book he was reading. "i have a really big favor and i'm not sure if you'd agree but..." the nervous ghost hesitated to continue.

"what? i'm sure whatever it is-" before changbin could even finish his sentence, the ghost interrupted him. "can i borrow your body? cause i really miss what it feels like to have a body..." the ghost said quickly, but the pace of his words slowed down as he spoke.

"oh... uh, well-" changbin was left speechless. "it's fine if you don't want to, i'm not forcing you or anything." the anxious ghost fiddled with his fingers.

"no! let me finish... um, it's fine with me." as soon as the boy mentioned that he agreed, the ghost's face lit up, feeling overwhelming happiness. the ghost started doing a little happy dance. "maybe! i'll think of it!" changbin gestured felix to calm down. "okay! thank you, thank you!" felix held changbin's hand and continuously shook it, showing him how grateful he is.

after felix thanks changbin, the ghost left the uncertain hesitant boy all alone in his bedroom. changbin debates with himself whether he should lend his body to the poor ghost or not.

"oh! and-" felix popped up next to the bed. changbin snapped out from zoning out and jumped in shock by felix. "oops, sorry..." felix felt guilty. "yeah, it's fine, what're you gonna tell me?"

"the process of me possessing you will be kind of... painful." the ghost bit his inner cheeks out of nervousness. "oh, okay. i'll just think about this, okay?" the boy asked for reassurance from the ghost. the ghost nodded with a smile then left.

"should i?" the hesitant boy thought to himself. "i'll talk about it with hyunjin." he thought as he tucked himself in his blankets and closed his eyes to drift away to sleep.

changbin was back at the cafe with the one and only hwang hyunjin.

"the gho- i mean, felix is asking you if he could possess you?!" hyunjin asked in shock and confusion. "yeah, basically." the boy just nodded his head.

"are you going to agree? he might do some dumb shit to your body." he widened his eyes, asking for reassurance. "i don't know. that's why we're here, cause i'm asking you, dumbass" the grumpy boy huffed.

"it's your choice, your body! why should i have to choose?" he complained but made a good point. "right... but i really don't know." changbin stressed out, running his hand down his hair as he thinks. hyunjin raised an eyebrow, waiting for changbin to make the decision.

"i mean if it's for felix... he died too young." the boy bit his bottom lip while looking blankly at the table, still quite unsure. "okay! so we're possessing you." his friend said too loud, making everyone in the cafe turn their heads to them, giving the two either terrified or confused look.

"god, why are you always so loud?" changbin whispered. hyunjin just awkwardly laugh and blush from embarrassment.

"so, i thought about it and..." changbin caught the ghost's attention who immediately faded in the room as soon as he spoke. "yes?!" felix's eyes lit up. "you can borrow my body." the nervous boy gulped.

"yay!!" felix cheered. the ghost jumped around then hugged the boy, happily. "i love you, thank you so much!!" the ghost tightly hugged changbin, unaware of his strength. "you're suffocating me, lix." changbin winced.

"oh! sorry." the ghost let go and chuckled a little.

"so when?" the boy asked. "maybe tomorrow?" he suggested. "okay, let's do that!" the ghost giggled in excitement, but then disappeared into the air.
