eight - sorry

its been a week since the two spoke, but changbin started regretting what he said and did to the ghost. as for felix, he hasn't been to the apartment for a while but he already regrets everything since the day he asked the question.

"felix?" changbin called into the empty apartment, expecting the ghost to pop in the room but no one appeared, leaving him sad and confused.

the saddened boy got up from his bet, checking around his apartment for the ghost but he couldn't find him anywhere.

"FELIX LEE!!"

suddenly, changbin heard a knock on the front door. he expected it to be the ghost, he has been looking for but as soon as he opened the door, he saw a tall slim man, dressed in all black.

"hello?" though the man in black gave off a creepy, intense aura, changbin didn't fear him cause for god's sake, he met a ghost.

"how do you know who lee felix is?" then the creepy aura hit changbin. he felt fear, not knowing how to explain.

"i have a friend... his nickname is felix..." he was scared that he might seem suspicious to the man in black.

"hm." the creepy man hummed and left. changbin close the door then took some time to breathe cause he felt so much pressure coming from the man.

"who the hell was that..." he whispered to himself.

changbin grabbed his phone and told hyunjin all the details.

changbin walked to his bedroom and flopped on his bed.

he screamed into his pillow and cried. as changbin was crying, someone was watching him from his door.

"hyung..." the ghost whispered

the next day, felix built up all his courage to confront changbin "changbin... hyung?" he whispered while he sat beside the hopeless boy on the bed.

"felix?" changbin's eyes lit up as he turns to the ghost.

"sorry..." the younger said, feeling guilty.

"i'm sorry, too. i overreacted and assumed." he bit his inner cheek out of nervousness.  

"it's okay, hyung!" felix smiled and hugged changbin. they both fell on the bed.

"i love you." felix mumbled. the boy blushed from his words. "i love you too." he replied.

the two ended up cuddling. even though changbin felt cold from the ghost's touch, he still felt happy that he made up with the ghost.

its been a few days since changbin and felix made up. changbin took felix to the park at night. they sat at the edge bridge of the pond, looking at the fishes in the pond.

"while i was looking for you the other day, a man in all black came into the apartment and asked me how i knew you. do you know who he is or..?" changbin asked.

felix just started chuckling. "what? what's funny?" changbin questioned but felix just kept laughing.

"nothing. that man was the landlord." felix giggled. "oh." changbin chuckled.

"we used to be kinda close. probably why he was so affected." he looked at his feet sadly, swinging his legs at the edge of the bridge.

"aw, don't feel guilty,it'ss not your fault that you're mortal." changbin frowned, tilting his head while facing the ghost.

"yeah, but i just wish i didn't die that soon" felix sighed then lay down on the bridge. changbin looked at the ghost, speechless cause he didn't know what else to say.

"yeah." the older awkwardly said, lying down beside the zoned out ghost.

"what are you thinking about?" changbin threw in a random question to break the silence between them.

"nothing, just..." the ghost hesitated to continue. "just?"  the boy interrogated.

"what if we dated?" changbin blushed cause of the younger's thought.

"uh..." felix's thought left the boy flustered and speechless. "um! it's midnight already. we should head back." the ghost stood up and excused to break the awkward tension he felt.

changbin sat up and stared at the ghost. "what if we did?" he replied to felix's thought but hid his face out of regret from what he just said.

felix's lips parted in disbelief. he couldn't believe what the older said. "you know what? never mind." changbin stood up as well.

felix warmly smiled at the boy to make him feel at comfort. changbin held felix's hand as if they were a couple.

they both went back to the apartment.
