Chapter 17: R-rovi...

ROVI softly hold her hand as they walk together in that path made of red bricks. She looks at her and it felt like the universe dissolves from the scope of his eyes. There's nothing but the glance of her eyes that caught his attention. She looks so innocent.

"Hey, Stop looking at me like that doc. Baka matunaw ako di pa tayo makagraduate ng sabay" she pinches his blushing cheeks before kissing him adding a dash of redness to him.

"Aissssshhh stop catching me off guard. I'm busy appreciating the enticing scenery right before my eyes" marahang hinawakan ang pisngi nito

"Napakabolero talaga! Isa pa baka maniwala na ako" mahina siyang natawa ng marinig ang tinuran ng dalaga.

"I love you Doc" he smiles widely

"I love you too" she responds before clinging in her neck and sharing a sweet kiss with him

Mabilis na tumakbo si Rovi papunta Intensive Care Unit ng hospital. Puno ng tao, mababakas sa mga mata nila ang takot ngunit may tuwa. Dali-dali siyang pumasok sa kwarto ng pasyenteng kanyang pinakababantayan.

"What happened Amara?!" hingal niyang tanong

"Saan ka ba galing?! I've been paging you for hours" May pagkainis namang sagot ng direktor

"I'm sorry. I was having lunch with-

"With Renzo?! again? Ano bati na kayo? Sino ba talagang priority mo?" Natigilan siya ng marinig iyon. Marahan siyang yumuko upang itago ang sakit na naramdaman ng mga oras na iyon.

Sino nga ba ang priority nya?

Sino nga ba ang mahalaga para sa kanya?

Hindi rin niya alam...

"Babe, after we graduated, anong specialization kukunin mo?" tanong sa kanya

"Uhmmm, specialization huh... hmm... Siguro loving you?" he smirked at he romantically look back at her.

"Tch! Ang landi mo talagang ruso ka" She pinches his side as they both giggled in that moment

"hahahaha, nagbibiro lang. Uhm.. ano. Kung papayagan akong magdoctor nila mommy. Siguro cardiologist."

"A doctor of the heart hmmm..."

"Yep. Gusto ko kasing gamutin ang mga taong broken and make them feel the happiness that I am feeling with you"

"Hmmm... Maski sa pagpili ng specialization may kasama talagang harot"

"Syempre. I want to put my heart in my profession para sure na gagaling lahat ng pasyente" Pagbibiro nito

"Check her vitals" matiim na utos ni Amara kay Rovi

"Vitals are all okay. Hey babe can you hear me?" he's worried and feeling pained at the same time as he tried to test her responsiveness

"R-ro,r-rovi" mahina nitong bigkas na tila ba nagsindi ng liwanag na pag-asa sa kanila.

Humawak ito ng mahigpit sa kanya braso. She smiles softly as she stares at his purple eyes

Hindi mapigilan ni Rovi ang pagtulo ng luha. Hindi niya rin alam ang dahilan niyon. Dahil ba sa tuwa na matapos ng napakatagal na panahon ay nagising na ang dalaga o dahil sa katotohanang mahal pa rin niya ito kahit na iba na ang tinitibok ng puso niya.

Fuck Rovi... bulong nito sa kanyang isipan

"Tumakbo ka na! Iwan mo na ako" ilang ulit na pakiusap ni Rovi sa dalaga

"Hindi Rovi, hindi kita iiwan dito ng ganito. I can't help but to stay here. Kung mapapahamak ka.I will be with you" sagot nito bago siya yakapin ng kay higpit.

Their sweet moment was ended shortly after an explosion occurred. An explosion that hurt both of them.

"Still shocked?" Hindi niya namalayan si Kristan na umupo sa tabi niya. Kasabay noon ay inabutan siya nito ng kape.

"Kind of. I was just 21 when I last saw her. But I heard her voice again, tila ba lahat bumalik sa araw kung kailan nasira ang lahat" marahan siyang humigop ng kape kasabay ng pagbagsak ng kanyang balikat

"I understand Rovinaire. Clairensky just woke up from a year long sleep. What's the first word that comes to her mouth?" Kristan looks at him innocently. He knows what is the meaning of that.

"My name, I guess she's been thinking of me all these years. I haven't stop thinking of her too anyway until-

"Until Renzo came into your life" he was cut and frozen because of the truth served before him

"You know Rovinaire or should I say Rovenzo. Love is just like a scalpel. Love can heal by cutting the pains of the past. It is sharp and dangerous so You must know how to handle it well"

Bahagyang napangiti siya dahil doon. Kristan really know him well, he rreally knows everything well. Hindi pa naman siya nakahihingi ng advice, binigyan na siya agad nito

"Thanks for the coffee Kris. I think I have to go now" Akmang lalayo na siya ng humirit pang muli ito

"Rovs, So ano nga. Rovinaire or Rovenzo?" bahagya siyang natawa ngunit tumindig siya nang maayos at tiningnan siya nang mata sa mata

"Rovenzo"
