Chapter 15

"Lumayo ka nga Lennox! Ang lapit mo masyado sa akin." Umirap ako sa kanya.

Paano ba naman kasi dikit na dikit ang upuan niya sa'kin. Nakapatong pa ang braso niya sa likod ng upuan ko at para bang inaangkin niya ang buong katawan ko. I tried to pinch his biceps pero wala akong nakurot dahil sa sobrang tigas neto.

"Hmm"

"Alisin mo ang braso mo."

Inalis naman niya ito at tumingin lang sa akin. My heart is beating so fast again. Buti na lang at nakaupo ako kundi kanina pa ako napaupo dahil sa pangangatog ng mga binti ko. His eyes are making my knees tremble because of fear and excitement. I hate what I am feeling right now!

I cleared my throat and looked at him.

"Dito rin pala nag-aaral si Aurelius at David?"

Tumango siya sa akin.

"They're on Section B. Transferee din katulad ko."

"Oh! Pero magkaibigan na kayo dati pa? May girlfriend ba sila?" I asked.

He put his arms at the back of my chair again. Hinayaan ko nalang siya dahil ayaw ko ng makipagtalo.

"Yes, we've been friends since we're seven years old... Girlfriend? I — don't know and I don't care. Why are you asking anyway?" His  voice thundered.

"Wala. Curious lang ako."

"Really? Hmm" He whispered on my ears.

I bit my lower lip and looked away.

"Yes. I told you I'm just curious. Stop asking questions. I don't like them."

"Is that why you asked for their number? Because you like them?"

I shook my head, "No! Nagpasalamat lang ako sa tulong nila."

"You called them but you texted me. You're unfair!" He pouted.

I stared at his lips! Fuck those red lips!

"No! No! Hindi ko sila tinawagan. I just texted them. Teka! Ano bang pakialam mo? Huh?"

"You didn't call them? You said you'll call them. Iyon ang tinext mo sa'kin."

"Dumbass! I didn't call them! Kahit tanungin mo pa sila!"

"Okay. Good girl!" He chuckled and tapped my head.

"Lumayo ka nga, Lennox! Ano ba! Ang lapit lapit mo sa'kin!" I almost yelled at him.

"You are not allowed to like someone else. That's my order."

What the fuck! Bigla akong napalingon sa kanya at nakita ko agad ang pagpipigil niya ng tawa.

"What did you say?"

"What did you hear?" He said with a calm but clear voice.

Nairita ako sa sinabi niya at tatayo na dapat ako pero mas hinigpitan niya pa ang hawak sa braso ko. Isang braso lang ang gamit niya at buong katawan ko na ang pinepwersa ko pero hindi pa rin ako makatayo. Ganoon ba siya kalakas?

I looked at him with my irritated face, "Lennox, stop this! Stop playing with me. I know we have a deal okay? You're helping me with my Dad's case and I am going to pay you that's why I am trying my best to socialize and befriend with you but please...stop what you're doing! Stop meddling with my life. We're not friends to begin with!" I warned him.

Umaawang ang bibig niya sa sinabi ko gusto ko sana bawiin pero huli na ang lahat dahil nasabi ko na. I saw his jaw clenched and his face darkened. Tinanggal niya ang braso sa balikat ko at tumango sa akin.
