"Conner!" I yell louder running up the steps.

"Kayla wait!" Liam yells,

he rushes behind me.

I rush down the hall into conners room.

I look down at the knob then up at the door.

Last time I did this ..

well we pretty much know what happened.

"Kayla." Liam rushes up next to me out of breath.

"Together?" He whispers holding my hand.

I nod.

my hand slides on the knob and breath out scared.

I turn it slowly fearing everything, even the sound of Liam's breaths.

I look up at him.

"You can do it." He tightens his grip on hand.

I slide the door open and I saw the gadgets, his unmade bed, the targets, the pictures .. Self portraits and family related things.

I gulp walking in everything eating me at once.

Liam walks in shocked as well.

"Wow, he's Uhm ... charming?" he saw a picture of me and conner and he just flipped the camera off as I did a positive peace sign.

I take the picture smiling crazily at it.

"I miss this." I whisper.

I was 12 at the time, 4 years ago almost.

We were in Florida for the weekend and Conner was going through his bad boy stage.

"Connie!" I yell using his favorite nickname

"I'm tired of this! Just come out and talk to me!" I also yell.

I saw nothing.

"Maybe we do have to wait two weeks." I whisper.

"Maybe." Liam nods taking my hand.

"Let's go -- have fun of course." He smirks, I knew this boy too well.

His idea of fun was not anywhere near my idea.

"Are you still crazy Dunbar?" I chuckle shaking my head, his hand still in mine.

"Only and forever for you sweetheart." He says slowly about to lean in until a strange groaning noise caught my attention from my old bedroom.

"Wait." I whisper.

"What's wrong?" He looks behind himself.

I begin walking his hand still in mine.

I open my bedroom door, something was making a loud moaning painful noise.

My heart ached.

"What the hell." I let go of Liam's hand.

the noise immediately stopped once I walked in.

I turn my back to look at Liam who wanted to come in.

"Wait until I look around." I nod.

I hear the noise again coming from my bedroom bathroom, it hurt me.

It was a close feeling.

I walk towards my bathroom, opening the door.

I stop abruptly.

I felt my stomach turn and twist.

"Liam don't come in." I whisper my breaths increasing.

"Why? What's wrong?" Liam says from the main bedroom door.

I look down at the floor tears filling my eyes, I felt my knees go weak.

"Kayla.." They whisper making me want to break down into a load of tears.

"Kayla what's wrong?" Liam whispers wanting to pass.

"Don't come in!" I shriek, I cover my mouth looking at the person on the ground.

"I'll get help!" I whisper to their moaning body.

"Scott! scott!" I shriek loudly.

I run back past Liam, he follows.

"Scott! scott!" I yell loudly at the stairs.

"Kayla, what's wrong?" He asks emerging from the kitchen.

"Come here quick! Help!" I shriek.

"Call 911 right now!" I yell loudly.

I was panicking.

"Kayla what's wrong what did you see?" Liam tried to reason.

"Kayla, what happened?" Everyone comes from the kitchen coming up the steps.

"Kayla, what's wrong?" I felt myself loose control wanting to faint then and there.

I tug on Scotts arm probably acting crazily.

"Call the ambulance now! Call!" I shriek again.

I was sobbing by this point.

"Kayla please calm down." Liam tries to reason again.

I breath in calming down.

For real this time.

"Okay, now tell me what's wrong?" Scott whispers.

"Scott." I begin, my breathing beginning to become rapid again.

"Breath kayla." He whispers.

I breath in then out again.

Fuck this, this was urgent!

"Scott!" I shriek.

"W-What?" He jumps.

"Call the ambulance please." I beg.

"Why? What's wrong? Who's in there?" Scott finally asks.

"My Mom."
