My eyes were locked with his. How could I not be shocked by him? Did I see it coming? Nope. Not at all. I just knew that he was hiding something. And now I know that he's always been a bad person. He's never changed.

"Surprised?" He questions walking slowly around the room looking at whatever he could grasp. "No." I say honestly, I cross my arms over my chest still standing there. His head snaps towards me. "No?" He exclaims walking quickly towards me examining me. "Nope." I rephrase so he'd understand that this wasn't a mistake and I'm not scared of him.

"You hear that?" I couldn't even call the man my father, he said listening closely. He was looking directly at Conner. "His heart is stopping." He chuckles deviously walking back around the room. What was wrong with him. What type of person did he become.

"So what. You became the Gani. The Gani became you. What have you done?" I wanted the full story so all of this could come to a better understanding.

"Conner was my messenger. I was controlling him. Day and night. While I controlled him, he controlled you. All I wanted was my power back. And your mothers which belonged to me. But I'm sure you know that, you're a smart girl." He spoke assuring me my assumptions were correct.

"Ricardo." The man turns towards Ricky was holding Gabriela in his arms protecting her from this man. He walks over to him slowly. Ricky looks away not wanting to make eye contact with him. "Look at me." The man says. Ricky looks at him slowly his jaw clenching. "What?" Ricky says through gritted teeth, unsure what to call the man.

"You've grown well. We should catch up." Before the man I once called dad could lay a finger on Ricky attempting to take over his power I yelled. "Leave him alone!" I moved slightly and his head snapped towards me. He walked slowly over to me. "Protective now aren't you." He chuckles sourly looking back and forth at us. His eyes landed on Liam. "Liam, it's great to finally meet you." He looks at Liam then at me. He began to chuckle again. Then he looked at Scott who's eyes were set very still on him.

"Scott. You've grown up, which one of these girls is yours?" He pointed at Gabriela who was hiding behind Ricky's arm, then Lydia who was holding stiles hand tightly, and finally his finger landed on Kira who was next to Scott looking at my father with fear. "Ah, I see. She's cute." He made a move towards Kira and Scott growled.

"My bad." He chuckles sourly again. "Hey. We didn't finish." I call back glaring down at him. He looked at me annoyed and walked slowly over to me. He was stalling you could tell. I don't know why but he was trying to waste time somehow.

"So what are you waiting for?" I say smiling at him deviously. Tempting him. He glared at me looking back at Conner. "I'm waiting for him to die." He says through gritted teeth looking at Conner. "I'm not getting any younger, or powerful." I kept tempting and pushing him to do what he knew he wanted to do.

"Shut up!" He screamed looking at Conner still focusing on him then on me. "You know you're not getting any more powerful either just standing there." I spoke truthfully my arms still crossed over my chest.

"Fine." He growled looking at me, a few feet away from me. He began to become midst from his feet to his head. It was happening fast. Gladly, I didn't panic. I pulled the object Conner had given me from outside of my sleeve. I had injected Gani poison into it. Without even thinking I stuck the object into the mans heart just a few inches from where the metal car part had been.

I felt the room burst into a thousand fireworks, different colors and lights appearing in mid air. I ducked shielding myself from the lights and shrieks the man gave. He was dying I knew he was. Once it was all over I felt a huge weight lifted off from my shoulders and a place in my heart finally sealed, where no one could hurt. I unshielded myself and looked at my object on the floor. I reached over and grabbed it. All that was left behind were ashes. A black pile of ashes.

I stood over them looking at them scoffing at them. Poor mom. She would never get to live a life because of this asshole. I sigh knowing I couldn't do anything about anything.

Then, I realized Conner was still on the bed dying. I rush over to his side. "Conner." I call slightly moving him, tears fell from my eyes. I tried hard to move him even more. He wasn't breathing anymore. "Conner!" I yell sobbing now, I didn't know what to do. "He's gone." Ricky was on the other side of the bed crying himself. I looked up and saw everyone looking down at Conner's pale face. I was panicking. I looked at the object then at Conner.

The Gani poison had all been injected into my father. I looked at Conner again and then at the object. It can do whatever I want it to according to him. I look at Ricky and everyone else.

Even bring people back.

I put the object over my head jammed it into Conner's chest. They all screamed. They must've thought I was crazy. But when the whole room went dark and we could no longer see anything they became silent.

It felt like hours later I opened my eyes. I looked around and saw a blue magical color. My smile grew big, and I began to laugh with a great joy. I threw my head back and looked up at the sky. thanks mom. I saw what I never thought I'd ever see again.

Conner.

He was grinning like a freak holding his white and blue one of kind wand. His skin was the color it had always been. And his eyes were the color they always manages to stay. a dark beautiful brown.

"Conner." I smile delightfully standing up quickly and running towards him happily racing into his arms.

It was finally over.

Everything was finally the way it was suppose to be. I heard coughs come from the room. Everyone stood up and looked at Conner shocked that he was doing magic.

I might've wished for the old Conner back. Might've. I smile to myself seeing everyone greet him with tears and hugs. I hug Liam. It was perfect. "I love you." I look up at Liam meaning it. I loved him. And I couldn't ask for anything better. "I love you too." He says caressing my cheek kissing me softly afterwards.

"I never want this to end." I whisper my eyes locking with his. He knew what I meant. Oxford. He was smart enough to get in this program and I wasn't going to let him give up. I'm letting him go, but I'd miss this. So much. "Me too." He leans his forehead on my shutting his eyes. I shut my eyes already not wanting him to leave. I wasn't ready for him to go.

"I promise I'll make you proud." Liam whispers taking my small hand and kissing the tips of my fingers. I smile softly placing my head on his shoulder lovingly.

I knew he would.

He always manages to.
