June 17th

I pack the last shirt into my small suitcase.

I breath out, it was happening.

Brooklyn had told me Conner was willing to talk with me in New York.

In our old house two weeks from today.

Am I excited?

a little bit.

Not that much.

But a little bit.

Ricky is finally out of bed, he's been able to walk a little better and it hurts me to have to leave him behind.

But I have to do it.

It just feels like the right thing to do.

I hear a faint knock on my bedroom door.

We leave today, and we would stay at my New York house.

After everything my parents left it to me, I hope I don't cry.

Jesus.

I'm done with crying.

It's just so .. pointless now.

But I still continue to do it,

Which annoys the shit out of me.

Melissa gave us permission to go and it was all good.

Me, Liam, Scott, Stiles, Lydia, and Gabriela, we're leaving tonight.

I hear the knock again only a little louder.

"It's open." I say before drifting into my closet.

"Kayla! I can't believe we're leaving tonight oh my gosh I packed three days ago how are you packing just now. What time does the plane leave? What if we need medicine what if you shift into whatever you are over there? Okay we need first aid kits and Condoms because for sure Lydia and Stiles Ouh and you and liam. Oh kayla I can't wait until you guys have a baby it's going to be fantabulous. How many are you having? Maybe 3 -- 5 -- I think 10 would be amazing but your vag would just not like that situation --"

"Gabby." I breath out coming out of the closet.

"Sorry I'm just really excited." She grins making me giggle.

"I need to talk to conner about what the hell I am." I breath out.

"You'll have back up with you there. And lydia will know if anything will happen." Gabriela soothingly says.

I nod, more relaxed .. Sorta.

Just knowing so much support was going... that's the best thing ever.

"Let's get this in the car." I motion at my suitcase.

Gabriela helps me hog it down the steps.

We were both weak so it was like carrying a 100 pound rock to us.

"We should get to the airport, what times does the flight leave?" She questions groaning.

"midnight gabby." I say dropping the suitcase on the ground.

"It's already 9 o'clock, with security and everything we might want to get going." Gabriela nods, she's so punctual.

I was nervous.

I'll have to admit that.

I breath out looking at the suitcase.

"You're good Kayla. Nothing's going to happen." Gabby smiles.

"Fingers crossed." I mutter.

the next morning

New York City, New York

I yawn, the plane finally landing.

"I'm exhausted." I rest my head on Liam's shoulder.

he chuckles kissing the top of my head sweetly.

I look up at him pecking his lips gently.

"Love you." he whispers locking eyes with me,

"Love you too." I sigh looking away, I was still really nervous.

Just the thought made me shiver.

"Okay Lady's and Gentlemen, we hope you had an amazing flight! Have a wonderful day!" A flight attendant speaks through the announcement speaker box thing.

Me and Liam stand as well as Gabby and Scott, Stiles, and Lydia who sat behind us.

Liam takes the suitcase weightlessly out from the top shelve things,

I forget these things.

It's been a while since I've travelled.

"Really? You couldn't have helped us with that back at the house?!" I say unbelievably.

"You didn't ask." He smirks.

I shake my head walking past him gripping onto Gabby's hand.

"Come on! You'll love the outside of the airport! I have to take you to the boardwalk! And oh my gosh you can meet Conners best friend, slash my ex boyfriend --" Liam eyes me.

"It's nothing! His name is Lucci he owns this Italian place and he makes amazing pasta. He's like a brother to me trust me." I brag.

"Lucci? the nerd that you brought that one christmas?" Scott laughs.

"Yes that one and he happens to not really like you. Might I add." I grin afterwards as we exit the plane.

I had my duffle bag hanging off my shoulder, so I was technically helping with the luggage.

"No! It's fine guys, don't worry I got all your luggage! Stop insisting on helping." Stiles yells sarcastically.

We all laugh continuing to walk.

"Lucci is actually picking us up. That okay?" I lean against Liam intertwining our fingers.

"Perfectly fine. It's never awkward to talk to a guy your girlfriend use to make out with." He says blankly.

"Great! We're on the same page." I grin taking it anyway.

"Kayla can't we just take a cab?" Scott offers.

"And pay?" I shriek.

"May I remind you there is 6 of us. We aren't going to fit in one cab!" I add on.

He was about to answer when I heard a few gasps.

"Shush Gabby!"

I didn't bother turning,

Probably some celebrity.

I still needed to discuss this issue with scott.

"Kayla, uhm, is that Lucci." Gabriela taps on my shoulder almost motionless.

I snap my head over.

"Fuck."
