The Demon Of Lust

I awaken in my bed and it's cloudy out which makes me smile. I shower and get dressed in a pair of black sweats and one of my fave hoodies. I get my black snow boots on and put my hair up in a messy bun. I grab my purse and head out to my car. I get in and drive to the nearest coffee shop. I have today off from work so I'm gonna go shopping. I've lost weight and need new clothes. I order an iced coffee with soy milk and check out what stores I should go to today to shop on my phone.

A voice I've heard before says,"I'll take coffee black please."

I look up and recognize Agmos who is standing at the counter. I duck my head as he turns around and my phone rings. It's my mother. I answer it and see Agmos look at me as I turn around and walk outside.

M:Sweetie, how was your night out last night?

I reply,"It was interesting."

M: What do you mean?

I reply,"Well Jaz and Caden didn't show up. But I met a guy and it was all by chance. He seemed really genuine."

M: Do you know his name?

I reply,"I do. His name is-."

A tap on my shoulder interrupts me and I turn and come face to face with Agmos. The air leaves my lungs when our eyes meet and Agmos smiles.

I say,"I'll call you back, mom."

I hang up before she can respond and slip my phone into my pocket.

Agmos says,"Good morning, Demina."

I shiver when he says my name and I say,"Good morning, Agmos."

He looks me up and down and even though I'm in comfy clothes, I feel as if I'm in one of my more feminine outfits.

He says,"You appear to have gotten home safely."

I nod in response and my name gets called out for my drink as does Agmos'. We head up to the bar and grab our drinks.

He asks as I take a big gulp of my coffee,"What are you up to today?"

I reply,"Umm..just going shopping for clothes. I've lost more weight since starting my new diet and my clothes don't fit."

Agmos' nods and I ask,"What are YOU up to today?"

Agmos shrugs his shoulders and says,"Didn't really have anything planned."

I nod as we walk out of the coffee shop. Silence follows as we walk towards the parking lot. I'm halfway through my coffee when we stop at the edge of the sidewalk.

I say,"Well I'm going to be heading to the mall and I'll be there for most of my day."

Agmos quirks an eyebrow at me and I say,"If you get bored doing nothing, you can come find me."

Agmos smiles and I step off the curb to cross when suddenly, Agmos is there and his arms around me. He protects my body as we roll across the pavement. Tires squeal as a car flies by peeling out of the parking lot.

My heart is racing and I lift my head up and look down at Agmos. He looks at me and I realize how close our bodies are and feel my cheeks heat up. Agmos pushes a strand of hair behind my hair before cupping my face.

He asks,"Are you alright?"

I nod and say,"Thanks to you."

Agmos looks around me as the tires squeal again.

He quickly has me up on my feet and says,"I'll meet you at the mall in a n hour."

I ask,"How will I know you'll actually meet up with me?"
