i'm glad you found someone new. really, i'm happy for you.
but let me tell you something, ellie. i hope he treats you better than i did. i hope he always buys you flowers (does he know you only like daffodils?), and makes you a cup of coffee before you even wake up (does he know you only drink it black?). i hope he'll buy you gifts when you're upset (does he know you love gift cards to the spa downtown?), and takes you to your favourite stores (bet he doesn't know it's the little record store beside your apartment).
because i guess he's better than i ever was. and i hope you think so, too.
