Chapter Twenty- Decisions

As I turn around a fist comes flying straight at me.

I barely manage to dodge it but I do.

I take a few steps back trying to keep my balance but am tripped by Jasper who is still barely being held down by the two men.

As my arms catch me I roll over on my back to see one of the guards from earlier.

He grabs my shirt pulling me to my feet before throwing one hard punch to my stomach.

The force of it brings me to my knees.

The man grabs my hair with his hand making my head look towards his.

He pulls his other arm back like he's going to punch me again.

I see his eyes are black... wait... did Jasper give Wes' other two guards that drug?

How many has he turned into bad guys?

The mans fist starts to come towards me until I hear Jasper yell "stop"

The man puts his arm back down and I look over to Jasper.

Both of the guards that were holding him down are unconscious on the ground.

He brushes himself off as he stands up, then points to me "she's mine."

The guard holding me quickly lets go and faces Jasper.

"Hello pet" he says with a quick smile.

That smile quickly disappears as Wes comes into his view.

He was fighting that other guard... how did I forget that he was here?

Never the less Wes stands tall, about ten feet from Jasper.

Jasper looks over to the guard and says "leave us."

The guard quickly takes off running leaving the three of us alone.

"Lets talk business Wes"

"How do you know my name" Wes growls out.

Jasper laughs, "you really think I didn't hear of the man who is able to mind control the strongest pack leader and pack in the country?"

Keeping my mouth shut is probably a good idea, but why start now?

"Oh whoops, guess we thought you couldn't hear anything in the deep dark cave you crawled into."

His head quickly beams my way and he turns his body towards me.

Wes quickly lets out a growl clearly threatening him.

I start to stand up but receive a growl from Jasper.

I look to Wes and he mind links "better to stay put, he's closer to you than I am... and let me handle this."

I give him a slight nod before his eyes lock onto Jasper and the battle begins.

"Look I'm going to get straight to the point kid, I have your men, I have the rogues, my army can destroy yours and whatever Zach has left in a second."

"So I'm going to offer you a deal you reign by my side and I can give you the world"

Wes takes a moment to think before saying "I think your bluffing.. I think you have a few rogues and a few of my men"

"So I'll make you an offer, leave or die"

Jasper immediately yells back "you think this a negotiation boy?"
