H-how did she?
“I know Morse Codes. Hepe and I used to do that when we’re kids. I caught Hades looking at your fingers.” She said.
She looks excited? Or tensed? Or sad? Or boastful?
I don’t really know, it’s hard identifying it without Hiro’s psychic powers.
But that’s not our problem right now.
The problem is, I saw the guy in a coma opened his eyes looking at Dra. Roff, without her seeing it. And maybe he saw what happened to her wife and maybe he saw who killed his wife.
Tama!
“I am a hundred percent sure that the man in a coma did this. Or he saw someone who did this.”
It was Dra. Roff who spoke. Lahat kami napatingin sa kaniya except Hiro and Hades.
So basically, kami lamang ni Inspector.
“Paano mo nasabi?” Tanong ni inspector.
If the atmosphere was not this heavy, I might laughed on that question of Inspector. I don’t know why, but it’s really funny.
Anyway...
“I know a patient in coma, if I see one.” Sagot naman ng doktora.
“Did you inspect any gun powder residue on the patient? And can you inspect the things that his wife was carrying before she died?” Tuloy-tuloy na tanong ni Hiro.
Sandali munang napaisip si Inspector bago ito tumango at umalis na.
“We need to catch him, alive. Pwedeng nakita niya kung sinong bumaril, or may alam siya sa Pentagon.” It was Hiro. Seryoso ito na para bang gigil na gigil.
“But the question is How?” Sagot naman ni Hades habang nilalaro-laro ang kaniyang buhok. Nakaupo na ito sa sofa habang komportableng nakasandal rito.
Everyone is in deep thought thinking on how to pin down the patient. It’s confusing and it’s hard to think why? And especially how?
“You make him get out of his bed.” Seryoso at parang matandang utos ni Hiro kay Dra. Roff na para bang mas matanda ito kesa sakaniya.
“Okay genius. How?” Nakataas naman ang kilay na tanong ni Dra.
“Turukan mo ng tranquilizer. And then we’re going to transfer him.” Sagot naman pabalik ni Hiro.
Nag-isip naman si Doktora ngunit bago pa ito makapagsalita ay tumunog ang telepono ni Inspector. Kaya agad naman niyang sinagot iyon at bahagyang lumayo muna.
Napatingin naman kaming lahat sa nakatalikod na inspector habang may kausap sa kaniyang telepono. Ilang segundo rin ay nagmamadali itong lumapit sa amin
“Gising na raw ang pasyente.” Sabi ni inspector ngunit parang hindi naman nagulat si Doktora dahil nakakunot ang noo nitong nakatingin sa kaniyang cellphone.
“Nagtext na rin sa akin ang mga nasa nurse station. Tara na, let’s plan this later.” Sabi nito at nauna nang lumabas sa amin.
“Raven, you stay here. Magpahinga ka na muna. After kang icheck ng Nurse mo, tsaka ka na ulit lumabas.” Sabi naman ni inspector na nag-aalalang nakatingin sa akin.
“B-but-” bago pa ako magsalita ay sabay na nagsalita si Hades at Hiro.
“Ako na magbabantay.”
