Present Day, Modern Era

The Demon Slayer Corps; an organization in the Taishō Era where people who used unique breathing techniques were assigned to do one thing. And that was to simply KILL DEMONS.

And in that very assassination group, we meet two of the highest-ranked members of the corps; Shinobu Kochou and Giyuu Tomioka. Best known as the Insect and Water
Hashira.

They were together most of the time in missions. Shinobu would always tell Giyuu that he was disliked and that'd how their daily routine went. They would talk (Shinobu mostly "pestering" him by her non-stop poking), have meals together, and train or spar one another.

You all know these though. These are basic truths as to why you're here. But why am I reviewing this? Well solely to tell you that those facts weren't how their story completely went.

Were they in love with each other? Pfft—they'd never. Or were they?

Well, maybe...YES. They just never tend to show it. Until...a few weeks before their fight against Kibutsuji Muzan.

They made a promise—well Giyuu made a promise. He had finally confessed, in such a lovely night where the stars were shining so bright, his love for his partner and proposed to her!

Luckily, Shinobu accepted his marriage proposal and yet didn't tell him that she had other plans already set in her mind.

After the battle ended, Shinobu was nowhere to be found...

Giyuu managed to find himself a wife and had a family before he died from his demon mark. He was content that he lived a life that far, but had tons of regrets.

Namely, not being able to stop the deaths of his loved ones.

Shinobu...the only thing that occupied his mind before he departed was her name and nothing else. If only he could've saved her in time.

Fortunately, their story isn't over yet. It only started again!

This is finally his—their chance to mend their relationship back!

But there's one thing setting them back—they don't remember anything about their pasts!

Oh how, will this all unfold, I wonder. Will it turn out worse than expected or better?
